Agreed! I watched a interview with red and she didn’t even know that they was going to kill her off until two weeks before! She said she was absolutely gutted but in hindsight it was probably a good decision as it allowed other characters to flourish and come to the forefront. Which I agree with that statement even though she was one of the best characters ever! As it would of all just been about red and it could of ended up murdering a character. By that I mean fans getting bored or starting to despise her! I love red like millions of others. One of the best decisions Wentworth made was Red.

Just got done season 8 on Netflix. BRAVO is all I got to say, what amazing actresses and actors. Never cried in awhile, but who all cried on the last episode of Season 8, when the song "STAND BY ME" comes on. Just goes to show, criminal or not, people can become close and the bestest of friends. They we're all worried about eachother, rather than wanting to escape.

The last two episodes were written so perfectly! I cried when they played “When the party’s over” on episode 19 and I definitely cried when they played “Stand by me” on episode 20. I really cried when I watched the final credits on episode 20. This is my favorite show 😂😂

You could not imagine this show, without some of the characters. The prisoners have to come and go but 'Boomer' is loved. I love 'Will Jackson' also. He was stupid at times (Marie) BUT he has to survive. 'Pamala Rabe'. I really never ever thought, that someone could step into the 'freaks' shoes (Maggie Kirkpatrick). Well she has nailed it. I will miss 'Wentworth' when it ends. Such a brilliant cast always.

I think you need to edit your intro. Wentworth is an Australian production based on the old Australian 70’s show named Prisoner. They have taken characters & episodes from the old prisoner days and revamped it and made it the awesome drama it is today. There is however actors in the show that are from New Zealand. I really hope they continue to make this awesome Australian drama. What other show can kill of its main characters and still gain popularity season after season?

In my opinion the show should of ended back when Bee passed and Allie should of went with her... it's better then the final 2 seasons we got. So sad because this show has so much potential and I was loving it up to season 4 or 5 then it was not as good or thought out. . Kinda like prison break..
