What are the most important aspects you are looking for in a romantic partner?
@infjmale91 Жыл бұрын
Someone who can love themselves as much as I love me.
@jodiforsythe3486 Жыл бұрын
I am looking for emotional maturity, stability and availability. I also understand my love languages, so that definitely helps.

An equal. Someone who knows who they are. Our paths align and flow. I feel connected on an intellectual, physical, and emotional plane. I want us to feel comfortable/safe sharing our goals, and encourage/support each other (as a unit) toward achieving them. Self-acceptance and unconditional love are on the same continuum. Like you said, it’s not about changing someone (or yourself). Just looking to be myself and for them to be themselves. If it flows, it’s for me.

Relatable, personal space, mental, emotional, and financial stability. (They have things in order and have purpose of their own.) which if I'm into her I would be very supportive.

An INFJ is happy in a relationship when: 1- 1:31 They’re on their own path in life 2- 4:01 Partner is emotionally stable 3- 4:54 Partner is self-aware 4- 7:48 Partner can listen & understand them 5- 10:35 Partner appreciates them for choosing themselves

After a failed marriage, and a string of failed relationships, which all followed the same pattern, I finally decided enough was enough. I spent eight years alone, and in that time I discovered that I was a really great person. I mourned, I healed, and I grew. I am now in a strong relationship built on mutual trust and acceptance that we both bring our strengths and weaknesses to it. For te first time I feel like an equal. So if you're an INFJ who doesn't think they can do what Wnezes is suggesting, belive me when I say, out of all the personality types INFJ's are the ones who are mostly able to do this. Good luck to you all, and I hope you find that special person, i.e. You.

I have just started my journey a year after divorce, still healing my trauma, worried about being alone though.
@Paul-eb2cl Жыл бұрын
@@blueturquoisett8448 A year is a very short time. It took me at least three minutes to get to a point where I was not reliving it in my head. What helped me were kind people who loved and supported me and time alone to process (not ruminate) to find the path forward. Also, try to find one thing (mine was running) that is healthy and gives you a natural lift, something that is your own and gives you a break from that whirlpool of grief in your head but lets you process the loss. You have to feel it to heal it, right?

You nailed it. We need to choose our partner carefully and take the time to do so. There are enough adults who are children in adult bodies. Great video. A very nice compliment to earlier topics. Ty ❤

The last point really hit. I was on an on-n-off relationship and trying my best to make my partner feel appreciated and doing things for him while also trying to grow as a person, but it seemed no matter what I did for them wasn't enough. I tried to communicate, but in the end could say none of it before he tore it all down and left. P.S. He wasn't self-aware, wasn't okay with who I was and was codependent, which means he was obsessed with me and wanted me to be obsessed with him as well.
@naheenisapoet69 Жыл бұрын
@@bogdanlazar3278 ACCURATE. However, I do admit i as an INFJ am more leaning toward independence than servicing till I kill myself, maybe because its because i am more self aware, but the more self aware i have become the less attractive i am to this kind of selfish people, and instead be marked as selfish. I mean i too was like my ex once.I was obsessive and codependent, but i realised i was wrong and didn't channel my toxicity on my partner and tried to grow out of it and so now i m not so emotionally attached to people. TO insecure people, that's a threat. even emotionally secure people don't want an outlier like us, how will insecure people handle it? Sadly because i m so different i keep downplaying myself with my imposter syndrome and play to others needs and ignore my wants and needs

I love this video, all points hit true with my relationship. It was an incredible journey to learn all of these points- I feel as though I went through the opposite in each pairing up until now. It’s been 8 months into my relationship with an INTP male and we compliment each others energies so well, I pinch myself some days to be sure I’m actually FINALLY experiencing a healthy relationship.

Interesting! My first relationship was with an INTP. We were together from 16-19. I think the only thing that ended it was our age/need for personal growth. Now I’m 30 but I’ll never forget my love for the INTP.. they are so deep and unique and complex and wonderful. Very much a kindred spirit to the INFJ imo 😊

I am currently getting to know an intj male and an intp male online. I can clearly see the differences in how they could potentially be in a relationship. I can already see how I would be with either of them. @Wenzes, what is your take on the most compatible mbti between an intp and intj male? I can tell you that so far, the intp understands me and melts my heart whereas the intj seems clueless or almost uninterested in terms of understanding me (even though he is consistent in his communication).
