You mean, in the 'short' run you're gonna pay a little more, but, quality's remembered long after the price is forgotten. I'm just a home handy man and I will only, either buy the best, or buy what I believe to be the best. Thanks for posting.

Teng ain't cheap, they make quality gear. I've had a Teng set for over 5yrs and they're still as good as new.

I've had a couple of small tools from teng, I had a stubby set of keys and they were terrible. I guess it's everyone's preference really 👍🏻

Yep,, that's the only drawback with having the best tools,,, you have to keep an eye on them, or some lowlife will nick 'em.. I got the Wera Tool Check Plus Kit, after seeing your last video, and it's fantastic, (the Allen key bits, are this profile too) !!,,, Should last years, if no-one decides to relieve me of it ,, !! Some things you can't permanently mark with your name.... (as if that stops the toe rags,... Lol...) Wera stuff is top notch,, (like most German tools), I'm just about to get the Knipex 200mm combination pliers, which seem to be the best on the market at the moment,,, but I really already have enough pliers,,, lol,, All the best, buddy,,,,, ps,, not many people know about this profile design, on these Wera hex keys, because it's patented to Wera,,, (they seem to be great, in my limited use, so far,,, !! )

That's really good to hear that you purchased and like the tool check plus, I really can't fault it and use it everyday!! That's always the case though isn't it, forget yourself for one minute and they're gone from your box. Nightmare. Let me know how you get on with those knipex pliers, we all have 'enough' tools hahaha! 👍🏻

Wera make a good range of tools. The stainless allen keys are generally for stainless fastners so the material match and thus reduce wear and or damage. I have the stainless and hardened tool steel set. The only negative I have with them are the plastic sleeves, they eventually burr over as a result of being slid back into the holder regularly.

Interesting you mentioned Teng, I've not tried their hex keys, but their bits seem good, fit tight into the bolts, better than Park Tool/Bondhus, Park tool bits. But just cus the bits are good does not mean the rest is. I'm looking into hex keys for undoing bolts on bicycles, My Park Tool / Bondhus hex set wore out after some years. At least the two next to smallest wore out, but good I had free hex keys from various stuff I bought. The Wera stuff looks interesting with the Hex Plus, if it really works then that's a good buy.
