Thank you Jürgen. I plan to make a new, more thorough review of the Wera hex keys - noting all the pros, cons and peculiarities. Until I do that, for a "full disclosure" as the Americans say (i.e. to avoid any misunderstanding): Based on what I can find and buy today, Wera Hex-Plus keys are the best (or, the least bad :) ) I've had the opportunity to try and use. But it is true that my 50-year-old FACOM hex keys seem to be slightly harder and better (though I'm not sure about the quality of now-available modern FACOM hex keys). I like the "Weras," and would recommend them, but I was a bit frustrated to see them not cope better than my ancient keys, in fact, they seem to be coping a bit worse. Not much, but slightly worse, despite all the "revolutionary Hex-Plus design" and other marketing drivel.

I have the wera have served me well i will buy spme wise japanese hex keys to see how well they compare

I fear that FACOM built today is not up to the last century standard (yet to give that a test). Out of the hex keys I can find and buy new today, Wera is probaby the best (or the least bad :) ) I've tried. It's serving me well. It's just the stuck, bad bolts - the old FACOM still seems a little bit better (slight difference, but I was hoping that new Wera would end up being at least slightly better itself, not the other way round).
