If you off-road or overland, then this is a must have! I eliminated 4 tools from my emergency bag by adding the Koloss.

Koloss means colossus. Yes, the end of the extension bar hole is to store the extension unlocking pin. Other Wera tools store accessory pins/keys in the handle like the 004095 zyklop hybrid set or extension, or the Wera 074705 adjustable torque pistol grip screwdriver which stores the chuck key. nice there's a storage, but the placement makes it seem like it's a hanging hook, which I suppose if you don't flop it around all the time, could double as such.

Jealous have wanted the kolos for awhile now. I do apartment maintenance and try to cut my tool bag down so I think this could cut down a few of my tools. Get rid of my hammer, mallet and add a ratchet for emergency tire changes. Love the videos thank you for giving a good and honest unboxing. Been buying German tools now I think it’s time to try some Japanese tools. You’re right that is where the spike key goes.

Maybe the slot in the back of the extension can also accept (fricction only) another extension?

Maybe koloss can be good for small jobs you need hammer like putting wall plug and then using the ratchet to screw in some bolt or using it to install anchor. But in many cases it would not be good option for either socket wrench or as an hammer. I find it many tools that try to do too many things, and they ends up with limited capabilities.
