Something not mentioned in this clip is that Chubb is very quiet and not a flashy person. He shows up, works as hard as anyone in the league, is a great teammate, and balls out. If you noticed in these clips he scored dozens of TDs and he basically never celebrates more than going over and hugging and giving credit to his offensive lineman. It's actually kind of a joke that he doesn't talk. There are some NFL Mic'd up clips here it's just him breathing and grunting the whole game, not saying more than a few words.

Nick Chubb is a future hall of famer, if he can return to form after this knee injury. The amazing thing is, he already had this same devastating injury in college, and made a miraculous comeback. Every highlight you just saw was AFTER his knee was reconstructed the first time. Now he has to do it all over again. If I remember correctly, he’s one of 3 people in NFL history to average over 5 yards per carry. A few more years of that and I think he’s a Hall of Famer for sure.

I think he is a future hall of famer regardless. But if anyone can return from such a brutal injury, it's Nick Chubb. If somehow he doesn't return to form, he is still a hall of famer.

NFL Films told his Browns teammates that they had Chubb mic'd up for the game. They all said, "Why? He doesn't say anything. You're just going to get breathing and whistles." Which is exactly what they got lol. Hope he comes back from that injury because he is one of the greats.

Cleveland and Cincinnati are in the same division and play twice a year, but the other factor here is that Cincinnati, in Chubb's first 3 seasons, had a combined record of won 12, lost 35, tied 1 -- in particular their defense was bottom of the league for yards allowed in 2018. Even in 2021, when they made the playoffs, the Bengals defense was in the bottom half of the league for both yards and points allowed.

Looks like instead of stiff arming which he does do occasionally, he prioritizes two hands protecting the ball when being targeted for a tackle. Would explain his really low amount of fumbles (only lost 6 his entire career)

The reason for seeing him (and Henry) against the same teams is within their four team divisions everybody plays each other twice. The AFC North is Browns, Bengals, Steelers, Ravens...so players will be beating up on the same team sometimes in highlight videos because there are just way more games played against each other.

Nick Chubb went to Georgia in college; he was on the same team that Tua Tagovailoa beat in the National Championship game with the game-winning touchdown pass to DeVonta Smith in Overtime. In the draft, it was largely assumed that the carries he amassed in college along with a sustained injury or two meant that he wouldn't be as effective in the NFL. His backfield mate, Sony Michel (who beat Oklahoma on a game-winning touchdown run the game before the National Championship against Alabama), was a lighter, smoother runner who, despite his own injuries, was assumed to be more likely to adapt to the pro game by having a style useful in the passing game (Alvin Kamara was the running back du jour at the time). Sony was drafted by the Patriots and won a Super Bowl with them as a rookie in 2018, but his injuries had clearly taken the burst out of him over time. He never did seem to figure out that passing game, and after bouncing around to a couple teams, Sony Michel retired at the beginning of this season. And Nick Chubb, injuries and all, persists as one of the best running backs in football. Hopefully a successful recovery for him.

Re:Chubb vs. the Bengals... The Browns are the only team named after a person, their co-founder and first coach Paul Brown. He was the coach from 1946-1963, when he was fired by owner Art Modell. Brown was away from football for 5 years, and then re-entered the NFL as a stakeholder and coach of the new Cincinnati Bengals. Cincinnati is also in Ohio, so not only did Paul Brown come back to the NFL, he was the local competition. He used the same color scheme for their uniforms. The Browns and the Bengals are historic rivals. Brown was salty about not being a Brown anymore.

Nick Chubb, Todd Gurley, and Sony Michel, were all on the University of Georgia team at the same time. Todd Gurley was looking to a star with the Rams before he injured his knees. Michel was more highly regarded at one point and won a Super Bowl with New England and retired this off season. In some ways Nick Chubb was least regarded of them in college.

Little bit of a polar opposite of Barry and Chubb, you guys should watch Le’Veon Bell. Announcers calling him patient was a bit of a meme. He would let his blockers do their work, and hit the hole at the perfect opportunity. Key part of the Steelers Killer B’s offense era. If you watch Bell’s highlights, you’ll need to check out Antonio Brown’s highlights as well. Best receiver in the NFL when he was in his prime.

-Hey fellas, check out this clip of Nick squatting. You'll understand why he has such power after seeing this... He and Miles Garrett are freaks of nature.... kzbin.info5TA_3zoBjcc?si=gXdGQbplPozIflnX -Yes, the Bengals are in the same division and in-state rivals. Fun fact, the original owner of the Bengals, Paul Brown, was the head coach of the Browns and who the team was named after. He fell out with then owner Art Modell, who eventually took the team later to Baltimore to create the Ravens, so he left and created the Bengals...

My Browns are cursed this year: First Chubb goes down for the season, then our T Conklin for the season, then our T Wills (may be back), then QB1 Watson for the season, CB1 Denzel Ward out with a concussion, now QB2 DTR gets a concussion today and probably misses next week, WR1 Amari Cooper takes a big hit and goes out, DE Myles Garrett hears a "pop" in his left shoulder that HOPEFULLY isn't bad, and CB Emerson leaves the game. Literally having the worst luck of any team this year.

RBs will hesitate slightly to allow the offensive line to set up their blocks, THEN they will explode through the open hole…..It’s an adaptation that I think may have come from the likes of Walter Payton, Barry, and others.
