Nick Chubb is objectively a stud at the running back position with 1000+ yard seasons every year since entering the league in 2018 (career best of 1525 this year). Besides that he's also a reserved, quiet individual that's respected very much inside the locker room.

The lifting clips are actually of him in the off-season at his high school. So the athletes around him are high school students on the football team. He regularly gives back and is really present with his high school/home town (Cedartown, GA). Although not 500M worth of athletes standing around, a bunch of kids watching their idol lift with the unstable bar might not be the best decision. Regardless, he’s freaking strong

350lbs is at least 145 kgs, that's insane.... Like, it's professional bodybuilding weight. Unless he is very very tall. Don't they test for drugs?

Nick chubb is clearly one of the best at his position, if not the best. His consistency years after year if remarkable, even more for a position where athletes fall off after 2-3 years. You should also watch his massive knee injury that he at Uni of Georgia. Just to come back and be this good is a solid indicator of how serious and talented this guy is.

As an American football fan Nick Chubb is definitely top 3 at his position of running back. Running backs tend to be a bit stocky (for football standards) most of them being around 5'9 - 6' and weight usually between 95 and 110 kilos.

The combine is an institution but it is still highly essential but not for the reason most fans think It's basically THE networking event that allows teams/gms to interview many prospects all in one place And what Daire said about it all being decided pre-combine is like 90% true, the exceptions being outliers. More often on the back big projects falling down the draft if they have bad combines rather than nobodies having good performances. And the size measurements in the combine can be deal breakers/makers for some positions, far more than the actual athletics tests.

I think the Viking Press and the high handle trapbar deadlift for 5 reps would be good tests for upper body and lower strength at the combine which also wouldn't demand too much lifting skill or risk of injury.

Nick Chubb is on pace to be the best running back ever, as he’s the only one to average at least 5 yards per carry in each of his seasons. He’s also the strongest at the position. He doesn’t get the media attention that a top player would because he isn’t very media savvy. He was famously mic’d up for a game and he quite literally didn’t say a word.
