The Museum of Science and Industry is one of the bldgs that remain from the 1893 Chicago Fair and I assure you that bldg is so incredibly solid of marble and stone that it could literally with stand an incendiary event. There is still evidence of the canals that are now very deep grass covered depressions. All those bldgs in 24 months is quite a stretch. Their narrative does not even factor in Chicago's unforgivable winters which the city during those days didn't have the advantage of monstrous snow plows not to mention construction of any kind during winter months are next to impossible.
@chrislaverty3055
@chrislaverty3055 6 күн бұрын
The official explanation is that the museum was rebuilt from stone in the period between the end of the fair and the 1930s, so there are decades allowed for the building of the stone version of the museum, not 24 months.

Just doing some quick figurings on that size of the area, the height ot that center building with the fountain is around 240 ft tall, the area around the on the second shot with the lights given that the area around that is somewhere in the range of 240x1000 ft or so, on either side so x2, that comes out to 80000 yards of concrete for just that area in the picture....

I like Static in the Attic too, but I think that He hasn't quite considered all the work necessary to accomplish such a monumental task in only 2 years. He states that he's in the construction business, and I believe that he is. But, I too am a contractor, and I've been doing it for 40yrs. We're literally talking about multi millions of man hours to complete something like the Chicago worlds fair all with hand tools, horses and wooden scaffolding. No body is questioning wether or not this was built, we're all questioning 2 yrs. I'm with you Cambel...I think this was there and they cleaned it up and repaired it, refurbished it, maybe even embellished some portions, etc... Dug it out, washed it, lime washed it . Even if we just take the buildings that are actually still standing, I seriously doubt that they could be built in that time frame even with all the modern machinery and equipment that we have today.

I've spent a fair among the time looking at the various buildings from the world fair. The large buildings like the machinery building are made with an industrial steel structure with a base of brick. The only obviously temporarily built buildings are cartoonish in their construction and are located on the midway near the fairis wheel. Spraying exteriors of buildings with a thick coat of white paint would be a simple solution to hide hide the age of everything.

Thank you Campbell for this short and sweet video, even though on so many channels this topic has been extensively covered, personally I think it's never enough, it's an ocean of information and inspiration. Sadly, I have to disagree with Static on this one, and it's the main reason I stopped following his content. If a channel stops making sense, I'm out of there. Life should be simple like that. Basically, I think he cracked in his convictions and/or lacking information, since why else would someone doing what he did suddenly ditch something that is practically the essence of what we're doing in this field. These hidden history topics can make or break humanity's future if implemented. It's no laughing matter. I personally am pretty convinced many things in this civilization were very very different from the 1700s backwards, quite unlike the picture the mainscream gives us. Yes, I know, I said mainsCream. The jury's still out on many things but so far we have some consistency that allows us to form an informed opinion or picture of the world back then. Funny thing that we seem to know more about so called ancient Rome and Greece than, say, the Middle Ages and the Renaissance. Doesn't add up, does it?

I heard a builder (JT from jtfollowsjc channel) make a good point. He said they say they were "temporary " and made from wood and staff etc,, and yet, as he put it "what do you think most houses built today are made of?!". Point being that most new houses today are made from these, or at least similar to these materials. They may have added some temp structures around the old structures, but there were definitely, imo, buildings already there. Some photos have Ivy growing up the sides of and tree roots grown into the buildings!

The entire concept of worlds fairs being thrown up IS saying there existed a construction company that had the required knowledge to commit & accomplish these "fairs" on schedule. Ffs, look what all it takes for a traveling circus to stay operational. Which also is something I think has relativity, however it's a logically physically impossible task. The scale of it all proves a great deal of planning, prep with past knowledge & experience has to be so for this to occur. So many essential needs for such a large construction company to become this capable to begin with, then travel the world no less. The narrative is completely insane, at face value.

I can’t imagine these fairs being built in their short time frame especially since we don’t hear about the massive parties that had to have taken place after hours where were those? People came from all over the world just to go to a room at night and read by candle light and not get some strange @$$? Not party like 1879? I’m an artist and no one mentions much about the statues. Someone still has to design them, cast em, refine them and so many in the water those aren’t made of cheap shit with in-climate weather 10-15’ tall but they held up hundreds of feet in the air with no crane. No problem how did those not fall to the ground killing passer by’s you’d think there’d be so many accidents and deaths I mean shoot how many people die at Disney or any them park today? How many time do we hear of something but not back then, they had their shit together. Too many holes I think but sure are a lot of historical society’s started up to retell their story

At 10:36 Searchlight. Proper big one! First use was 1870 Franco-Prussian war. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Searchlight Must have been so cheap to make to be able to cover many of these buildings with them in order to get the fabulous illuminated night shots. Find that model of searchlight :) You'll get date and cost etc.. Also, this could mean that even the searchlight was not our invention..

hi Cam, letting you know i am getting zero notifications from your channel. just checked, notifications are ON, but big surprise nothing, none from my queen MARI at SWARUU OFICIAL either. why are my favorite channels missing from my notifications? MIND UNVIELED, UNIVERSE INSIDE ME also, now I'm sure there's MORE...I've only found a handful of channels i fully resonate with and actually hear things i haven't heard yet, and its these channels i have to remember to check. wtf. btw, big love and crazy blessings from Atlanta ga, USA.

Wouldn't it make sense if your daddy had the money to send you vacationing around the world year-round and someone was nice enough to hit you to their podcast you would invite them and you would do different podcast from different continents

I do not think these were temporary at all. That’s just dangerous you’re going to put thousand of ppl on stucco balconies high af in the air?! No. Monolith structures for… What ? Just cuz I guess lol 😅 some buildings literal acres big lol and that’s whiteout me mention all the logistics of doing this . Where the workforce come from , where do they stay , how do you feed a group that large , where do y get the horses and wheee do they stay and eat and all the water for the animals alone would be a massive haul lol . And this would be for years ?! Cmonnnnn. I could go and on . Oh and don’t forget the never ever made a mistake they are mathematically perfect to the nth degree all over the realm . It’s WILD! In the 1800s with there finest chisels @ Donkeys Incorporated lol 😂 I just can’t . There’s my monthly rant thank you for ur time !! 🙏🏽💜😉

I like lyour videos but I think you should check and verify or debunk things before putting them out there for scrutiny. I don't think there have ever been any claims that the Arc de triomf for example is made of plaster; it is very clearly made of red brick. But something that size could conceiveably be built from bricks in the time period allowed. The museum in Chicago was supoosedly taken down and reabuilt of stone in the 20 or so years after the Wold fair there - sounds quite implausible, but it is the official explanation and would account for it still standing today.
