I bought a lot of discs in 2023. It seemed like every week a new disc was getting released. And on top of that, there are several older molds that I finally got around to trying in 2023 as well. So in this video, I take a look back at 2023 and let you know my top 5 disc acquisitions of 2023.

The Kastaplast STIG has been a pleasant surprise for me.

I really enjoyed the Stig as well. It had a bit of overlap with some of my other discs, but it definitely had a great flight and felt amazing in the hand.

Sockibomb slammer is probably my favorite disc I found in 2023. The A5 is also solid but the Sockibomb slammer does it for me

Nice! It was a lot of fun looking back at all the new discs I used last year, it really made it tough narrowing it down to 5 discs lol

lol i have so many of these in my bag as well the cosmic fury is my latest obsession, it’s exactly what i hoped the luna would be as a thrower. the zeta’s moon goes really far. i just needed to realize that it’s way flippier than i thought it would be. and the lobster might be one of the most fun discs i’ve ever thrown (i have it as the “creature” from remix discs, but same mold)

The lobster was interesting for me in how versatile it was. Like yes it is understable, but you can use it for more than just turnovers.

They're just some shoe racks I got at Wal-Mart. They work pretty well for disc storage.

I love the AGL Magnolia. It might be like the Archive. For my forehand I can throw as hard as I want and it goes where I aim it. For my backhand it is stable enough not to turn over. The Watt is a game changer for my putting. It goes where you point it. Period.

I forgot the Toro but only in the champion plastic. The star plastic was too domey to be overstable. I think the Toro is a better Zone than a Zone. Gateway brought back my favorite disc the Warspear. Best approach disc with the sticky rubber blend.

I bagged a Toro for a while as well and really enjoyed it. I just preferred the handfeel of the A3 and A5 a little more, but it was a close call for sure. Honestly, all of these approach discs feel great lol.

The cold and rain are making play tough! I had a +11 at Ralphie last weekend in the 16 degree weather! Love the list! I bag the Cicada and the Crave but probably use the Crave slightly more. Thank YOU for the Archive, it's in the bag! Gotta try the Millenium and Zeta's Moon. And that Detour is a must have for everyone (I think!)!!!

Over the last few months of watching you play, I have definitely noticed the improvement putting-wise since the Pa-3 change. I forget exactly which video it was, but there was a point where I was watching and thought to myself, “oh my god, he’s hitting like every single putt.” Love the videos brother, keep it up 🤝

A disc that was new to my bag in 2023 is the Kastaplast Jarn. It will never leave my bag. 😆 It's what a Zone wishes it could be.

I actually have one on the shelf. I plan in doing an Overstable Approach Tournament Arc where I test a bunch of overstable approach discs to see which one comes out on top. I haven't thrown it yet, but like all Kasta discs, it feels great!

The Zone is exactly what it needs to be. Jarn is just a faster version of it.
