The true horror of the apocalypse is witnessing the world around you slowly die out.
@azayrian105211 ай бұрын
It’s funny. I made a guy and played him as if he completely rejected the idea that the world ended. When I finished walling off my base I went and picked up every piece of grass, bush, and sapling. Using a lawnmower to clean out the sidewalks and replacing all the broken windows and doors. All of it to completely mimic the look of how the houses looked from the beginning of the apocalypse. So, to him, it would look like all the same, but the problem is that they were always just facades. Empty husks where life used to be. I just thought it was neat.

Man... I am speechless. You really have talent to tell divine-tier stories, without them having any dialogue whatsoever. You really improved since the first time I saw one of your videos, Werlias, because this actually felt like a movie, with all the close-up views, the change of expressions, and camera angles you used. Even in the darkest of times, we'll always be able to see a star shinning bright in the horizon, I think this video captures that sentence perfectly. "Loonie" lost everything time and time and time again, first his wife, his child, then his work, his home, his camp, no wonder he decided to live alone after seeing how everyone that ever got close to him, ended up dying. Perhaps he thought he was cursed, or he saw himself as death. The small mountage of 3:44 until 4:02 where he ended up at a graveyard gave me that feeling. He spent entire decades of his life walking a lonely road thinking "No one will die as long as I remain far away from them" even if that decision killed his humanity little by little with each passing day. You making him end up in the graveyard was a marvelous decision, alongside the poncho, truly made it seem like he "thought himself as the grim reaper" after everyone who died because of being a part of his group. But it was both ironic and beautiful that life decided to give him a person to care for these last decades of his life, I adored the ending, a tragedy turned into a story of love, I'm happy for Loonie and his new lover! Godly work as always, Werlias! :D glad to see you making more content, buddy!

I like to imagine that at some point in the game when you are playing eventually if you survive long enough you become the last survivor in the quarantine zone and that the virus didn't actually spread outside of the zone and was successfully contained, And what we heard about the virus spreading on the radio was just conspiracy theories and the military and outside world is still very active all the while our character is struggling to survive against the last remaining hordes in knox county.
