Years ago while living in Pennsylvania I'd worked for Conrail, late 70's early 80's (now Norfolk Southern, but formerly The Reading Railroad) out of Rutherford PA. I worked as a trainman (brakeman) on both yard and road jobs. We would move trains to Allentown, South Philadelphia and occasionally Hagerstown MD over the Western Maryland trackage. I probably went past this little depot any number of times without even thinking about it as it was probably pretty dilapidated at the time. It's good to know that it's been brought back to life and serves a useful purpose once again. Perhaps someday I'll visit the area and have a Déjà vu moment. I have a lifelong interest in railroads, someday I'd like to own an old depot as a home. I did live in the Silverton Colorado depot for a couple of months while employed by a publisher who used the depot as his headquarters... Subscribed as your content looks interesting and perhaps It'll conjure up some more memories of my time in Pennsylvania.

Gosh, I love this channel. Thanks for your awesome visuals and research. I love seeing the old artifacts- the artistry of the luggage tag, the care taken on the brass plates, etc. you just don’t see that anymore.

Spent a lot of time in wernersville bc my grandparents lived there and parents grew up there even though i was raised in exeter, a lot of memories of that station and the cone ice cream shop that used to be behind it. Thanks for making these videos, very niche content to say the least but im glad that theres documentation of these places.
