I heard Ibanez wanted to but had to discontinue the destroyer due to "play authentic " lawsuits. The Mike D'Antonio destroyer bass was also discontinued as a result

@@absatz5 The current Destroyer shape is far enough away to dodge any Gibson suits. The Jackson X-Stroyer Vogg's playing now and the Schecter E-type are both closer to the Gibson shape than the Destroyer is

We didn't even get the new IC420 in the US. I'd be happy with either a 25.5" 6 string Iceman or 26.5" 7 string. It makes no sense that they keep being stingy with the Iceman and Destroyer releases in the US. They've done 25.5" 6 string Icemans in the past but they never stick around. The current 25.5" 7 string is boring.
