I think this will be one of our best moment on the channel, and you know why?Cause this video will remind you of all the things happened when the camera was off. (oh this part was the day of the dive, and you remember, we also have done that and this). This will be your friends and family memory but most of all, the fun and love you had. Thanks for sharing every week a piece of your life "WE" love you!

That looked a lot like an Irukandji jellyfish, they’ve claimed a few life’s on the Great Barrier Reef in Australia. From my experience, they same to be high in numbers after a lot of rain, especially where freshwater runs into the sea. They cause severe pain, sending the patient into shock, and possible heart failure.

What a great episode. Glad everything worked out in the end. The bit with the three of you jumping up and down in the tender was fantastic. As I type this, it's -4ºF here in Chicago, with winds gusting to 40mph (feels like -28º). All things equal, I'd rather be in French Polynesia.

Beautiful content. Love the project that Warren does. I had a guest get stung as well between the Pitons at St Lucia. Everyone else in the water just fine....after some deliberation we took him to the local clinic and then on to a hospital on full IV while convulsions. Very scarry indeed.

You two have the most fantastic video editing and content of any of the 4 or 5 sailing channels I watch. Really unbelievable how awesome they are, like a Jacques Cousteau documentary coupled with modern day reality show...Just wonderful. Wow this is gorgeous! Don’t know if the comments in the first 24 hours count more than the views but we’ll squeeze them both in. The drone footage is amazing and adds a huge amount to the gorgeousness (yes, that’s a word. At least it is now) and the editing is really well done. You two are a treat to the eyes. I mean the videos you produce are a treat to the eyes. Well… you are too. But it’s the videos we’re talking about right now.

Ye coped a few over years off the surf beaches in eastern Victoria Aus. We always had a couple of bottles of vinegar around, great to treat the stings, not instant but settles things down gradually.

You are so lucky that you are not married to my wife of 62 years. If I had told her that I needed more weight in the dingy to help straighten the hull so she needed to get in, those might have been my last words. All kidding aside, though, that was a splendid video, and we are thankful that your young friend recovered so quickly. As a kid, I was raised in La Jolla, CA, in the fifties, and often ran into jellyfish; luckily, I learned early on that I was not bothered by them.

Great vid, thanks for sharing Did your friend get stung by his eye? Jelly stings can be real buggers sometimes, I took a few blue bottle hits when I lived in Sydney and looked like i had been whipped, Alls well that ends well

on the tender floor problem, i would get the aluminium grip they use on scaffolding, tack weld it in place, would increase rigidity and rubber floor mat over it, no hull penetrations

.... had been wondering how far the lapse was and then you mentioned Happy Fourth of July a few videos back .... you two jumping up and down attempting to straighten the Highfield reminded me of a clip, Warren hailing from the construction field will like this. kzbin.info/www/bejne/pZ7CnZedic6rbZo ..... that blow hole, WoW the force of the air .. be quite the experience when water made it that far .... Erica , your mum deciding if she liked the sailing experience on that rough day. Someone did a study of which part of it was questioning world class athletes before their competitions, these were all solo as opposed to team events, if they were nervous. Across the board the reply was no, they were excited. The outcome of the study was that nervousness and excitement are the same energy, it is just how the individual identifies it and processes it, determines the outcome. Got a feeling that your mum was weighing the results of her experience. My story to this happened 30-35 year ago on a rollercoaster ride in Orlando and as it took off I was like Fing'ell and hanging on to the bar white knuckled and I asked myself is this scary or is this F-ing awesome and it was a Hell-Yeh ...hands never touched the grab bar again .. went for a second round, free, we had already been chatting the staff first round. figured out where the camera for the monitor in the lineup was on the second ride, for the third round ushered to the front of the line and got cheers from the line cause they saw us on the monitor .. all because of the change in how I perceived my energy .. And Warren's reaction "let's go again" .... glad Alistair triumphed over the Jelly encounter .. think you made a lasting impression on him, impacting his life-path .... interesting seeing the reactions of your guests over the months, all successes .... thx for the share .. as always .. never stop dreaming, just dream bigger .. have fun be safe, save our oceans ....

Do you have an oxygen bottle on board? How about EpiPens? I watch MANY sailing channels. What gets me is the very minimal amount of medical supplies that most have. You are AWAY from medical help. What do you really KNOW about first aid? I've taken MANY first aids courses over the years but I wouldn't go world sailing without a very intensive course... a couple of weeks or more... before I left. And... maybe I have a "leg up" on many people, but when I have travelled around the world I familiarized myself with possible "baddies" and had a pretty good idea of where I might encounter them. This stems from an interest in, and a degree in Biology, I am sure. But everyone can do this. The jelly fish could have been avoided, pretty much. I have some diving experience and got an assistant instructor's ticket many years ago. Rescue Diving was a pre-requisite course for that as well. So WHAT to do if you get in a life threatening situation while diving or snorkeling. You NEED that where you are. Stay SAFE and Stay well. You are living a life that few get to live. Thanks for your vids.
