When changing the oil from the outboard motor ,I would get a bike pump and put it on the top and force the oil out 👍🙈😎⛵️

Happy 200th...cheers with some rum...... I think maybe Moorea is sending you a message that it wants you to stay.....I believe that when we finally get there it will be a bigger WOW than what happened when we took what we thought was a scouting trip to where we live now.....we got so excited we bought a house, went back, sold everything and 6 months later moved here.....Moorea seems to me to maybe the perfect home base to live on and be able to sail and visit the other islands and Tuamotus....with Tahiti where you can get anything just a ferry ride away....looking forward to more awesome videos....thank you for sharing you adventure

Congrats on 200, Boat motor- need to drop lower unit. Remove water pump. Vertical shaft will need to go up to separate from small pinion gear. Order new water pump kit while your inside it. There are shims needed to get proper backlash on new gear set. Replace prop shaft seals also. Piece of cake, Warren.

Hard to imagine there's not a Yamaha O/B dealer on all the main islands to fly in a new motor. Sticking with Yamaha will solve 80% of your engine problems. Enjoy the adventure, great videos.

Did any of you see the twist in the spline on the prop shaft at 27:09? That didn't look good either. Clearly you guys got it all fixed and on the road/water again, but boy, what a pain in the but. Maybe some lower guards to prevent the prop hitting anything in the future might save you some time and money? Great job Warren and great video Erica!

Rum&Coke is always Great for a Good Night's sleep! (Depending on the size of the class of Rum&Coke) Looks like ya'll are getting closer to the dreaded hall out. I went snorkeling the other day. And it was awesome. We don't have the sandy bottom like you do there. But it was a Great snorkeling. Nothing like the sights and sounds and smells of Island life! I have to admit I'm surprised you don't have an old 9.9 2 stroke as a spare tender motor heck even a 5hp just so you're not fkd when something like that happens . The old 2 strokes are cheap and have very few parts and they're light . Anyway. Keep being awesome and thank you for sharing your lives with us .
