One big reason for that is BigHit & BTS know the nature & tradition of KZbin reaction channels, which innocently started 15 years ago. BigHit knows the importance & value of KZbin since they used this platform to advertise BTS before their debut. It is one way to advertise & propagate your content & merchandise (in this case, BTS) so they see it as an advantage & win-win. Other big companies don't understand that so they instead block and/or strike reactors.

The issue of military service is a big theme in the bts fandom, at 28 is the age limit for Koreans from there they have to go yes or yes at service and Jin, the oldest of the group should have gone to military service by now but last year the law was finally passed that allowed artists (singers) to be exempted from their service until they were 30 years old, so this is probably our last year with jin (he is 29 this year will turn 30) until he's out of service in a year and a half We do not know what will happen, we can not get involved in these matters they want to go and comply as Korean citizens and we respect that. They are one of the pillars of the Korean economy, they contribute too much to the country Soccer players and classical music singers from korea do not go to military service for their contribution to the country but unfortunately that law does not work in "kpop" singers but we need to respect that at least the armies that we are not Korean It is a law that cannot be broken thanks to the war between the two Korea's so we just have to wait and see if the 7 go together or each one corresponding to their age, if that happens we would have to wait 5 or 6 years I think until the 7 meet again,,, god I'm going to cry. Sorry for writing so much, I hope the information will help you understand😔

Im still thrilled the Korean gobernment went and modified the law just so Jin wouldnt have to go to the military this year im sayin this bcs BTS is literally an exception and the requirments for the excemption are only valid for them. None of the members have been in public relationships since the group was formed in 2013. There aren't even any privacy invading photos taken by dispatch, paparazzi, stalkers or ANYONE, of them in any romantic situation. They travel and work non stop. My guess is probably all had several discreet but short relationships. They don't have a No Dating clause in their contract at all If they have a private relationship, it's being kept very private, something I hope all fans would respect. They're human and deserve the right to date if they want to have romantic relationships. I would hope ARMYs as a whole would be happy if it came out that any of the members were dating and they would be supportive of it. They're busy humans. They don't have a lot of down time, so I'm doubting any of them are currently dating with their schedule.

18:00 The reason people become fans is rarely because of their looks, I would say half of the people is because of their message, musicality, lyrics and issues they address, 1/3 is because of their personality and authenticity, the rest being non-stable/new fans 30-40% of Armys are not female, a lot more than you'll think, not to mention, with the exception of 50 yrs and above, 10-20 yrs actually holds the least percentage in the fandom 19:00 They were doing social commentary music even before they debut, they dropped School of Tears (RM, Suga, Jin) on SoundCloud, and their first album is also controversial, telling teens to do what they want, while the second album critiques the society for letting teens to be oppressed 36:57 Their official song count is around 300, but if you include their 4 mixtapes and other songs released for free on SoundCloud, the number could reach up to 400 One of the thing this documentary fail to address, is the hate BTS have received ever since their debut, being mocked for their looks, issues they address, big companies used business/media strategies to down play their talent (since they dominates the whole entertainment industry) The idol industry in Korea used to be so gross that you don't know if you should feel bad for the idols in big 3 for their underpaid wages, slave contracts, forced plastic surgeries, having no control over their own lives or if you should feel bad for the idols that are not in big 3 for their useless hard work, sleepless nights with only chicken breasts everyday (fun fact chicken breast is one of the cheapest meat in a lot of Asian countries since it's tough and not much people eat them), worrying everyday about their stability and future, or feel bad for the trainees, who have no clue if it'll take them 3, 5, or 10 years to debut, often balancing multiple part time jobs with training everyday But we also need to take to account that the western treats artists poorly too, slave contracts, underpaid artists are everywhere, I hate when western media describe the Kpop industry as this hell of a place, where do you think they learned that from?? THE WEST Honestly, the treatment of artists have gotten better, mostly due to the increasing accessibility in information these days, making companies harder to hide their dirty leashes on their artists, but the big 3 still do a lot of disgusting business and agreements to ensure their position in the entertainment industry That's why Armys are forever grateful for Bang PD, for treating them as real people, helping them to grow, learn, encouraging them to come up with their own ideas and thoughts, giving them the freedom, money, and respect they deserve, from the very beginning

I'm from Paraguay, South America. And yes, BTS are huge here and everywhere in Latin America. Kpop has become the thing around here and bts of course are the most popular group. They've been to Brazil a few times and people from other countries had to travel to see them and they also went to Chile once i think.

bts are huge in european countries too and always show up on the albums charts, even being #1 in quite a few. they're popular all over the world and people who open up their minds enough to notice it will know.

You can find their reality show on the app called Vapp, (it’s free) there’s like 120 something episodes, it’s real fun, they do all kind of stuff. You don’t have to watch it from the beginning, the episodes are individual, if you decide to also react to it we’d love to enjoy it with you, I think you can put it on KZbin also, some people do it, just make sure to cover the Vapp logo and I think you’ll be good. Also bts do have solo music out. The three rappers have multiple mixtapes out and all the vocalists have put multiple solo songs out as well. We value those solo projects so much, it really shows their color outside the group and they don’t even do it for money because they put their solo music on SoundCloud for free as a gift for us. I think it’s really helpful for them to be able to make their own individual music but then come together as bts as well. They truly do it because they like music that much.

RM is fluent in Korean, English, and Japanese, and is excellent at lyric wordplay across languages. The others can speak better English than I can speak Korean ;) ...but they aren't fluent. And sometimes when they are talking during interviews they have memorized what they'll say. They are really good at memorizing lines in English. XD

My entire family is into BTS. It started with me 10 months ago and recruited my 32 year old daughter, 27 and 18 y/o sons and 13 y/o daughter. My husband pretends he doesn’t like them but I caught him humming and singing Suga’s song several times. Their songs are relatable and touch your heart no matter what age, race and gender. Add the factor that they are the most silly and funny group I’ve ever seen is icing on the cake.

Bts are like brothers they have lived together since trainees and are the closest you can be to anyone. They still live together to this day, and they all have said when they disband (not anytime soon) that it will be really hard for them and it’ll be worse than any breakup.

Something I think this video lacks is the emphasis on how hard it was for bts to actually get noticed by the public and all the internal struggle they went through

Run BTS is actually on KZbin with English translations but I think you would need to post it on patreon. That’s what I heard from other army’s anyways.

I love how you guys are getting into this BTS rabbit hole! Btw, RM is the only member who is fluent in English. When they go to America, or do interviews in English, he's usually the one who takes the lead with speaking. He also helps the other members with their English when they go to award shows and for interviews. He taught himself English by watching Friends, funnily enough. He's also fluent in Japanese.

Oh we are WAYYY older than you think. 27 year old married woman here! My mom is 53 and we are both hardcore armys. Been following them for 4 years now 💜You need to see “BTS: From Nobodies to Legends part 2” It shows the research and info graphic data collected that shows the diversity of our fandom. Also introduces you to many older armys as well. We are the biggest most diverse fandom in the world at the moment, without doubt. I have personally connected with armys from all over the world, of different gender, ethnicities and age groups over the span of these 4 years. It’s heartwarming and beautiful; the connection we have with bts and each other. I cannot express it in words but bts and armys saved me. They made me a better version of myself and taught me to love myself and be grateful for the little things in life and for that I am forever grateful. Sending you both love from India 🇮🇳💜 Borahae (it means “I purple you”. It was a term coined by Taehyung. He said “Purple is the colour on the rainbow and so it means I will trust and love you for a long time” Purple has been the official colour of the fandom since then so you’ll keep seeing armys use this terminology and the Purple Hearts a lot 😊)

Jhooope! His solo album is HOPE World, also recommend EGO, would love to see a Jhope Moments video. The all-white dystopian type MV is called NO. I also recommend ON the official MV (another dystopian type storyline) & ON the kinetic manifesto (more dance). Life Goes ON is an MV w/a pandemic theme

My top five : 1. The truth untold 2. Blue & Grey 3. Black Swan 4. Spring Day 5. Ddaeng I literally pondered 30 minutes & still isn't satisfied with my list, every song by them deserves to be no.1 ... no one can make a top 5, I can make a top 50 but even that would tear my brain apart.
