This makes me miss Taipei Wes. Catherine is a very good company. Lucas is really candid in his reactions. Can’t wait for the continuation of this video. :-)

Cilantro is available in almost any vegetable vendor in a traditional market. It is frequently used by vendors as gift when you buy vegetables. Ask vendors, you will probably get some for free.

Cilantro (Coriander) can be found at any supermarket or traditional market in Taiwan. Look for the package indicated 芫荽(pronounced “yuan sui"--it's official name) or 香菜(pronounced "xiang cai"--it's common name) when purchased from the supermarket, or just tell the booth owner in the traditional market that you want to buy "yuan sui" /"xiang cai".

Congratulations for getting the black pepper bun. As much as I love Taiwanese sausages, I like your search for different sausages in Taiwan. Next trip to Elephant Mountain, stop by the coal mine exhibit. Its short distance to 101 shows how much the city expanded since World War II

Hey, you and Katherine should team up and travel the world and introduce different cultures, scenic sites, and foods! You both have very positive energy and attractive smiles. Foods and be a great medium to bring everyone close together....its something that we all like...eat good food! War is a result of misunderstanding and inconsiderate of one another's religion, culture, and ethnic background.

Sun Yat-sen is considered the Father of "Republic of China", not technically the Fater of Taiwan. Also, Sun did not had connections to Taiwan itself rather than how KMT government had claimed Taiwan as part of China which justified the ROC's ruling in Taiwan after being defeated by Communist China in 1949. For a fun fact, Sun was actually promoting Taiwan's indepence when he organized his revolution rebellion against Qing dynasty.

Your film is as good as always! Katherine is a treat! You can find that prok-blood rice stuff in chi jin tourist area in Kaohsiung. As for cilantro, you can find in most traditional markets, although it might be seasonal. Ann-she is taiwanese dialect for cilantro, and sian-tsai is mandarin for it. Hope it'll help. Kaohsiung and Taipei are both nice cities to live in, different atmosphere though.

We visited that night market in 2010 (all 4 of us) fun night!
