The weird thing is, I've seen the UK version where it says Pizza Hut and you can tell it's been dubbed over but it looked better than what I saw in the video above where it looked jarring. Either way, even thought I've heard of Taco Bell, even if I didn't, I think they should have kept it as Taco Bell for the international release, I mean seriously, it's not a big deal if you know what Taco Bell is or not, people would figure it out as the movie goes on. In any case, the dubbing on the video above seems far worse than the one I saw in the UK, where you could tell it was dubbed over but it came across as more natural, on the above video, it looked out of sync and jarring.

FYI, if you're wondering about the Pizza Hut vs Taco Bell thing... there were 2 different DVD releases: US release = Audio was "Taco Bell" and the restaurant window and car logos were Taco Bell. INTL release = Audio was "Pizza Hut" but the restaurant logos were Taco Bell while the car raided by EF's gang, at first had Taco Bell and a few seconds later switched to a Pizza Hut logo. Simply put, back in the 90s Taco Bell wasn't as well known globally but Pizza Hut had been around for years and was more easily recognized.

The Pizza Hut thing has to be more specific than just a "non US" thing because I saw this movie in the theatres in Sweden when it first came out, we've never had and still don't have Taco Bell in this country, but we still got the Taco Bell version of this movie. Same thing for the people who bought it later on on DVD as well, it was still Taco Bell there too. I've seen this movie so many times in my life and have never even once seen the Pizza Hut version until reactors started covering it.

One of my favorite films! Glad you got to see it. This cut is different than the original. You're correct. When they say 'Pizza Hut', it was originally 'Taco Bell'. They even cut a few scenes out. There's one where they pull up to the restaurant and you see the signs everywhere. In another you can see the Scraps holding canisters of food with Taco Bell on them. The truck was altered with a different logo as well.

This was my favorite movie growing up in the 90s. I was in elementary when this came out and first watched it a year later on HBO. A classic film. They even had the action figures and the video game when it came out. Speaking of Dennis Leary being in this movie, you should check out his film with Cuba Gooding, Jr., Emilio Estevez, Rapper Everlast in the film called Judgement Night, which came out in the same year this movie came out. Its action thriller movie. Trust me you’ll love it.

Then when cops get away with BS you'd just think they in good with that lawyer too like the politician and criminals are. Big city or small town, corruption can happen anywhere. One example: a small town lawyer does something really dumb, offs themselves cuz there is no way out. Their boss even madder cuz cops didn't break procedure to let him handle it. Funny thing was that was found out by Mr. 'have a seat' Hansen, and it killed his show. Bigger fish probably doing the dirty deed or stealing even more. They don't want anyone snooping around. Seeing 85k illegal kids recently go missing under gov watch and the old news about the island, well that's one point almost confirmed. Big money and insider trading being a congress thing they do openly. You'd go to jail for it if you did it, even go to jail just for following the leader and investing as they do.
