Dayna is a legendary interviewer. Asked difficult questions. Pressed on confusing or conflicting responses. Didn’t overtly take any of the responses personally, even when challenged by Hans. Most importantly, Dayna did exactly what a reporter is supposed to do, and that’s provide the platform for the interviewee to confidently give their thoughts. Hans actually talked about the toll the rumors and accusations had on his day to day life in a way that felt genuine and kind of tragic. To me, Hans is a bit of a condescending jerk that is pretty unlikable, but the price he has paid for the sin of beating Magnus OTB while having a history of cheating online was way too high. Regardless of whether you agree or disagree with what Hans said, it was a 10/10 interview.

@izanazir70882 ай бұрын
Sorry but Hans did cheat and the results shown were clear, he played more than 5 games in a row 100% accuracy according to 3 different engines and if you swap up engines, he will still get higher accuracy. The previous record set by a person caught cheating with 98%. Magnus has streak of 70% accuracy I think. To put his results to test, you see does the man shows the ability of a genuis on his body psychologically because based on results, Hans can solve calculas by the age of 10 and catch of upto science and even discover somthing new before hitting 20. Yes people often do have clicks in thier lives but the clicks they have had are based of on hardwork and the click is not absurdly high quality inhuman like. So how do we check if a person is cheating, we set a standard of criteria, see if the results of a person matches with the ability of genuis he exhibits. If someone is accused, compare it with the dominating history of entire world. You will not find a single example of such sheer genius expressed by results but not by person unless the person cheated. However I don't believe hans is cheating now. To prove his cheating now, we must follow our criteria and provide evidence for our say. If he falls into the criteria, he is not cheating. We cannot accuse him of it unless we have enough credibility to our evidence. So my point, magnus accused of hans cheating, results supported magnus's accusation and magnus doesn't play because he doesn't know when will a grandmaster decide to cheat.
