Weaver should’ve been banned for a year For throwing at someone’s head.
@theneoenigma20944 жыл бұрын
I don’t know about that, but you never throw at a guys head. It’s extremely fucking dangerous. Take Adam Greenberg for example. His first ever major league at bat, he gets hit in the back of the head with a 92 mph fastball, underneath his helmet. He suffered a sever concussion, along with vertigo and vision issues. He never played in the majors again, aside from a one-day contract with the Marlins.

Weaver clearly didn't want to hit him. The guy was a perennial All Star selection for the majority of his career and would be able to hit the batter if he wanted to
@BobHarrison12294 жыл бұрын
@@logan_nowicki So you're saying that Weaver's control is so good, that it was intentionally aimed to almost hit Avila in the head? Avila, a guy who had nothing to do with the earlier HR, and has a reputation of being a gentleman of the game. Weaver was a hothead, particularly that year when he faced Verlander and they were both forerunners for the Cy Young.
