Black Girl Magic (#BlackGirlMagic) is a concept and movement that was popularized by CaShawn Thompson in 2013. The concept was born as a way to "celebrate the beauty, power and resilience of black women," as described by Julee Wilson from The Huffington Post, and to congratulate black women on their accomplishments.

I live in Ivory Coast west Africa where this Lolo dance started and I can tell you that is not how they dance, in fact these girls suck. maybe they are from West Africa but the don't live in West Africa. one last thing, they got the dressing wrong.

the greatest gift we can give each other as black people is support and respect, especially to our youth. Now their style my be different than the usual way, but it is art, they are artists, and they are free to interpret the dance according to their time and needs.

Very boring more Americans dancers. They dance without the motherland rhythm. Cute..
@adamcenturione86315 жыл бұрын
I can see how TedX may have put more into supporting more accomplished dancers, but are you really going to shun that advance of West African culture in the Americas?
