True Crime Stories from Addiction, to Homelessness, to Crime, and Poverty. Exposing the truth about the underworld of the Blackhorse Pike, West Atlantic City. US-40 Egg Harbor Township.
These are the flop houses and motels of West AC. From drug addicts and street workers, to the famous serial killing of the Eastbound Strangler.
This video is protected by the Fair Use Act. All subject matter covered is strictly for documentary purposes, to bring awareness to the struggles in Americas most impoverished and ignored environments. There is no footage of sexual acts or drug use but some of the topics do discuss these matters. The purpose is to show the humanity of the people who fall victim to addiction and poverty. Grew up in Atlantic City and I miss the old West Atlantic City. (Before Casinos) It was a different place when I was a kid.

Thousands of people live in motels across the USA in maryland its so expensive all the motels are crowded with fulltime residents (Easton/Cambridge Maryland)

When I go to AC I often stay at the Holiday Inn Express on that stretch of road. I never knew it was so dangerous. I’ve seen the rundown motels and abandoned buildings. Maybe I should consider staying elsewhere? The hotel seems safe and has a beautiful private beach on the bay. Maybe it would be best to not to be out there after dark? You can actually see this hotel a few times in this video, most notably at the end beach scene.

Now that its all knocked down its not as bad but still has issues. Long as your not walking around at night you should be fine but if you can find better affordable options you may want to consider them.

The funny part of this is that West Atlantic City isn't part of Atlantic City at all... It is and always have been part of Egg Harbor Township, not Atlantic City. Patrolled by Egg Harbor Township Police, not ACPD. That's why Casinos couldn't be built on that long stretch of road because it was outside of Atlantic City. Egg Harbor Township (West Atlantic City) and Atlantic City are two different municipalities.

Egg harbor township is huge and theres so much strange things in the township, a couple of my videos from there… i saw like a 10 year old child sitting in a running brand new ford lightning truck $100k sitting in an abandoned gas station in egg harbor alone

Have crashed in one of these motels one time after a 48 hour poker session and it most definitely had a murder, ten million prostitutes and drug users staying there previously. We got there at 9 am and slept until 4-5pm lol then drove somewhere else. But sht I would NEVER stay in one of those motels at night time you’ll just see some crazy sht and or die
