In the middle of West Edmonton Mall, North America's largest shopping mall, visitors can get a taste of the coastal life by visiting the Marine Life Aquarium and the Sea Cavern below. From watching giant sea turtles eat their lunch, hand-fed by human divers, to petting anemones and starfish, to cheering over a sea lion performance, this fun-sized aquarium has got it all!

My kids liked the penguins the most too, mostly because the penguins pretty much played 'with' them, chasing them and following them along the glass. It was pretty cool to see! :)

I loved the 'hands-on' part of the aquarium, especially how they taught the children how to respectfully touch the creatures and how to clean themselves properly before and after. Learning to respect wildlife is so important! :)

As you said in a previous video , the ethics behind zoo's in general have come into question of late . And i feel , that if it helps protect an endangered species and brings awareness to their plight , that's not such a bad thing . But it's a very complex issue / Love ya Marti

It truly is a complex issue. I think here in North America zoos are pretty decent and the animals are primarily well-cared for. But there are zoos in other countries that don't have the same laws and standards that we do, and those are the ones that need major improvements or even shutting down...

They are only out twice a day, so you have to either have lucky timing, or stand in line outside the aquarium so you can get a good seat! ;)

That sea lion was standing on its back legs... I used to have a cat who liked to do that! I wonder how they made that sea lion bark on command like that.... Yes, that smaller female _was_ noticeably more agile! My favorite marine animal is probably the octopus. A very chic video, friend. You certainly have a skill!

I used to go there but ever since my dad passed we haven’t went but we are going when my grandma feels better I live in morley Alberta search it up it’s about a 5 hour drive from Calgary
