West End Eagles ~ All 3 Juvies Soaring 💕 🐦 Chasing Parent! Koa & Sterling On Historic Nest 🐦 7.7.24

It was another day of flying, soaring and chasing the adults for food deliveries for the Trio. The video opens with the juvies screaming and chasing after a parent - lots of chortles and squees heard. The delivery must have been off cam!
Later, all three fledglings are seen soaring and flying over the ocean and the cliffs! Some flybys right in front of the cam! Just beautiful ♥
Later Koa is on the historic nest and Sterling joins. Sterling flies off and returns - both leave when it is time to head to the night perch to roost! I am not sure which one is in view at the end of the video :) It might even be Treasure lol

Nest info: Eaglets WE1 (Koa), hatch 3/9 -3am; WE2 (Treasure), hatch 3/9 -7pm; WE3 (Sterling) 3/12 hatch by 4:10am; Thunder (F) 15 yrs old; Akecheta (M) (wing tag 61) 8 yrs old.
This eagle pair is a success story, part of a bald eagle restoration program started by the Institute for Wildlife Studies in 1980. Their nest has been active since 1991 and has been streaming live since 2005.
The West End Bald Eagle Cam is made possible through an educational partnership between Institute for Wildlife Studies, Montrose Settlements Program, Santa Catalina Island Conservancy, and Explore.org.

Koa and Sterling likes to be with each other , koa likes sterling more than treasure since treasure kicked him from the natal nest when he fledged also they are not friendly together , and for Treasure she treats Sterling as a little sister, This is what I noticed during the three months ))

Great video LH!!! These girls fight all the time!! Somebirdie was hollering while ‘soaring’ so I rewound the video… they are fighting in the sky!!! Geesh!! I wonder who was not fairing well and vocalizing about it.. probably Big Treasure and Koa at it again smh I love them so much but they keep my nerves upended lol thx again LH! S/n: Koa could be male and the other two females ?? Koa is still small compared to them and its face looks different now in the beak area! 👀
