West Highland Way Day 8--Kingshouse to Kinlochleven

In this video I leave Kingshouse on my way to Kinlochleven. It's day 8 of my West Highland Way adventure and though cold and rainy, Scotland doesn't disappoint. Buachaille Etive Mor is a spectacularly imposing sight as I head toward the much-anticipated Devil's Staircase. This stretch boasts some of the West Highland Way's most stunning scenery. I end the day at MacDonald Hotel & Campsite, anxious about the climb out of Kinlochleven the following day.

I have always wanted to give it a try but always too busy working retired now 70yr old live in the outskirts of Glasgow I would like to know what people who have done the walk think I'm I too old

You are definitely not too old! There are people far older out there doing it. You just have to plan and train and decide you want to do it!
