He played 50 odd test matches, he had some long goes in the team. But with it being the 90's he was chopped in and out. He was never going to make it as a test player.

You’re right. But how many consecutive tests? Players were one bad test from being dropped through the 90’s. Hick the same. Central contracts came too late for them but still wonderful players

You can't believe watching this video that batsmen like Hussain, Crawley and Hick got picked over Ramprakash, can you. Ramps looks better than all three of them in this video. He looks Tendulkar-esque.
