This is for showering while camping on the beach. We did some beach camping in the Herald Bright area, other side of Denham in Sharks Bay really nice. For the showers we have a old bucket (25 lt ) we would boil up 5 lt of salt water from the ocean in an old pot and add the up with fresh ocean water, used a 12 volt salt water bilge pump you get from ebay very cheap. You can buy the shower adapter and buy some salt water soap, 25 lt of warm ocean water bloody nice, remember to clean out the pump in fresh water after your done. love the Vid by the way.

For your shower set up I use a cheap 12v shower which pump drops straight into a 10 or 20ltr jerry and packs up in to a small size tackle box.. runs off a 12v socket 👌 keep it up guys love the videos 👍

Great video and isn't Dirk Hartog a beautiful spot. Yes it's expensive for the average person to get over there but here's a tip. About 5 years back, my wife and I volunteered with national parks to perform a clean up on the island for 7 days. There was about 20 people all up. They paid for the ferry transfers, we camped at Sandy point (no cost) and they purchased all the food for the week. In return we visited a new area each day and loaded a trailer full of rubbish which was removed from the island at the end. We had a great look all around the island, swam and fished in the arvo. They generally do this once a year so keep an eye out or contact national parks WA. We had a great time and recommend it to anyone. Around Christmas time they also run a volunteer program monitoring the turtles.

Hi Jason & Beck, we must have been out at Withnell Point at the same time as you. We were camped along the beach, 4 vehicles. My wife and I had the small caravan and boat, the others had kayaks which were more suitable for the conditions. You can see our rig again behind the Salty’s sign near the end. Was a great trip and was good to reminisce with your film work, fantastic work, thanks.

You guys are an awesome family and your kids are just perfect wide eyed natural young Australians. What a wonderful family adventure you guys had and I get the privilege to sit here and jump on for the ride. And, nice bit of early explorer education slid cleverly into the video as I have read and wondered about, but have never been to where Hartog and Dampier sailed and landed in Western Australia. Well guess what, I feel like I've been there now !!! Also loved the overhead Drone shots to give the adventure some broad perspective and 'western' 'filmic' inspiration Well done and good stuff 'nature lovers' and look forward to your next outback western adventure before the kids get bigger !!

Looks so nice over there! Following you guys and adding heaps of points to our map for when we do our big lap! Just one question, how do you go funding it all? Work hard and save? (I do understand if you don't want to answer) but I would love to travel like you guys do. Any advice would be awesome! Thanks heaps, love the videos and keep it up! #livingthedream!
