Really enjoy the car week videos. I told my better half we have to go to Utah so we can crawl. Love the back drops if you will. And the rocks look fun too lol. Really looking forward to see what else you do with the Base Camp.

Owls are freakin' awesome, especially the big ones. The Basecamp is a cool truck, performs well stock, and the electronics package is pretty decent too. Have a great weekend, Friday afternoon here already... Cheers mate 👍

Hoping for a raw builders kit? It’s good to build it instead of rebuilding it. Start out with what you need and build it to your own specifications.

I could watch car week every week! just seeing the different trucks is cool but just getting back into the casual trail hike crawls is awesome. the 10 gate comp that you held was super sweet to but I did miss this I have picked up a lot of technical tips from these videos to put into comps.

Hi Logan, you're doing a good job of selling me the Rock Pirates RC stuff... I'm just hoping I can get it in the UK at some point! Maybe someone like Gareth Curtis RC will pick them up (he already distributes Treal and Punks Custom stuff here). I've got my fingers crossed! Great video, I'm enjoying car week. And owl day... 😁

Thanks for putting out all of your videos. I love watching them. Any chance you can do a comparison video with the Basecamp & the Gladiator? I want to get one of the two and I’m not sure which one to go with. A comparison video would be helpful. I know the Gladiator has the dig function, and the Basecamp doesn’t, but I’m not sure if that’s a concern for me. I already have a 4ws Capra that I can use the dig with, just looking for a fun trail truck. The money saved buying a Basecamp versus the Gladiator could be a lot more upgrades right off the bat. Thanks, keep up the great work.

I really hope you see this, or someone else answers this question. I'm new to the rc crawling thing and I want to build one to fit what I want it to do in my area. I need to find a set of portal axles for it. I was looking for a kit like they have for the straight axle but I can not find one anywhere. Do they sell them in a kit? I looked on facebook for some and got nothing. At this point I may have to settle for straight axles and just live with it. I dont want to buy a RTR just to get the axles. That is a big waste of money for me.
@westdesertwheeler2 жыл бұрын
Axial doesn’t sell a portal kit, vanquish products sells a F10 portal axle kit individually with plastic housing and all internals that are very similar to the axial portals.
@Oper8or2 жыл бұрын
@@westdesertwheeler Well that makes things a bit more expensive and annoying. I guess I'm going straight axles or just buy the basecamp as a platform to build off of. Thank you for the info sir!

Basecamp definitely seems capable with simple mods, I’m into the micros a lot and thinking of getting this for my starter 1/10. It will slowly become a LCG cheater

Axial is good. Plenty of after market parts and fast horizon service. Horizon warrantied my planes and helicopters and sloppy glued off set 1/10 rc rims and tires. I am a dedicated horizon cutomer for life. My hobby store can always get me parts from horizon. I have a friend that bought a cheap red cat truck. He always has problems getting parts from the 2 big hobby stores near chicago.

Scx10ii and Element Ectos are very capable platforms out of the box and have many conversion kits to lcg.

You will enjoy the crawler. At first i wasnt sure due to my addiction of speed and running on clay tracks. Best purchase should had done it 9 years ago when axial introduced us to slow moving machines. I like all my axials. They all drive different. The trx4 is an onroad sport truck or a crawler per the trans shift and locking and unlocking diffs. I try to obtain my machines used for half price or less. I took my time and got 3 without scratches and abuse. Races will get boared and sell cheap. I carry my trucks in my pickup. Always ready to crawl. I have abused my trx4 daily for 1.5 years and very few broken parts. Excellent part support by after market and axial and traxxas. Dont buy redcat. Hard to get parts at hobby store. I tend to avoid associated after seeing all the discontinued models on their web site. I was big into associated during my racing years. Horizon and traxxas respond with very fast delievery to my lhs for all my broken parts. Welcome to the hobby. Dont delay . I lost out on many good years of rock crawling.
@allmightygreat18922 жыл бұрын
Trx4 also has a easy setting on esc for 0 50 100 percent drag brake. This week traxxas introduced the trx4 high trail for a good price. The lift kit is worth 140 plus 2.2 wheels and tires.
@allmightygreat18922 жыл бұрын
The axial crawlers have locked diffs. It drives very slow.
