I think if I was going to make a crawler into a drag truck I would have started with the Element Enduro Builders kit or perhaps the Gatekeeper builders kit. You could build a tube axle for the front like a gasser has or graft an IFS off a 2wd buggy.

80mm shocks on the back seem a bit too large for a drag car. Maybe look for something smaller like a car shock an run them off your chassis rails directly 🤔. Overall sweet build I love seeing things that are different

I know in northern utah at least that would be in the unlimited class and at that point you are not limited to a 2s.

Regardless of unlimited class if its an actual sanctioned NPRC related event it's automatically DQ'd because its not a SC chassis one of the #1 rules in nprc. Obviously if it's not an nprc event just a bunch of buddies goofing off together it doesn't matter, but otherwise it be disqualified for any nprc event across the country...

@@westdesertwheeler I completely agree with you there, when it comes to Drag builds it has to be carbon fiber chassis and every and anything aftermarket you can piece together and make fit if you plan on making it to KOTS .,it's just with your axial build idea you won't be able to run it in any NPRC sanctioned event because it's not based off a SC chassis? I mean unless you had no interest in actual NPRC?
