Love how rc's give you the opportunity to go wheeling outdoors without having to worry about spending a ton of money like you would a 1:1 crawler. Keep up the great content 🤙🏻

I agree to a extent but then again comparing wages to price on goods. Goods are getting away from the average wage. Probably in my children’s adult years they won’t be able to afford any hobby . A shame people can’t see the writing on the wall . Enough with that tho, keep on RCing ! 👍

I have owned a full size jeep buggy and it needed a lot of work and fabrication after each trip. I spent 1,000$ at a shop 5-6 times in the year I owned it. Decided it wasn’t for me at the time. RC cars can get expensive but usually a broken car is about 50$ to fix and I just pick it up and carry it. Much easier to deal with
@cam04462 жыл бұрын
@Forrest Farris I do think 1000$ up is pretty crazy for a RC but even something like a trail honcho or a 24 scale crawler is a lot of fun to take wheeling.

Enjoyed the longer video Logan, well done! It’s fun to see more of the beautiful environment you’ve got down there. Plus, the more lines packed into one video, the better! Your line-commentary this time was killer this time as well.

If down the road I want to end up with a rig like yours what base do you start with? How do you end up with a longer wheel base. Also a better rear steer? Can a rear steer be added to a non rear steer later? Spend the extra money on the better controller first?

She’s the spotter.. spotter dog.. she’s like dad look I’ve done been through here 20x while I wait on u to get here once 😂 have fun man. Capra is my favorite too I’m ready to have mine back home… I needs some help with soldering… (not gotten that down yet) but we putting rear steering on it.. can’t wait to get it done and when I first got it dig has never been right… we gonna check it.. it’s been 2 years since I’ve had it.. it has the crawlmaster pro or expert I can’t remember now. It’s the white one. And the hw1080 and I had to use a bec for rear steering.. it has a 11t pinion but thinking about dropping to a 9.. I know I have to do some work with a drimmel to get that n there.. does she run 2wd or 4wd locked? Lol 😂 cute dog

@@westdesertwheeler Most definitely! And that’s great to know-I’m thinking I may switch from the iPhone/DJI gimbal to a GoPro when I can afford to-it seems like you’re able to get up and rolling much faster than me as I’m having to stick my phone in the gimbal and get it all balanced up.

I started racing RC 30 years ago. Now for the past 25 years I've been Jeeping and rock crawling. I'm wanting to start playing with some RC crawlers. I'd love to build on of the LCG rigs but I know that can turn into a project. What readily available kit would you suggest?

Hey logan, quick question for you. I picked up the 4ws model and after two short rock crawls it is beat to hell underneath diffs deep scratched bad, I know how tough those links are but how much abuse ( rock drag ) can these portals hanldle? My 10.3 has been through hell and back however its alot narrower so doesn’t have that same level of diff drag. Thanks man!
