Pretty much just captured the very crucial elements of why a lot of us ride and will never stop riding . It keeps me going mad just to be out on my own . Well done , that man

My motorcycling hobby began in 1964 at 18 and in all these years Triumph is still my picture of what a “real” motorcycle should look like! Presently own a 2020 T120 and prior a 2016 Thruxton R but the T100 and T120 still are my mind’s eye classics.

I bought a 2020 T120 Black used, it's like new, except with a couple of customizations like Hines exhaust, a small wind shield and handlebar end mirrors, with 5,000 miles on it and it's been a complete joy to ride. It's my second motorcycle after trading in a Yamaha SCR950 that was giving me problems. One of the best decisions I ever made.

Hi, I am very close to buying a brand new Bonneville T120. You stated that you rode 141,000 km on your T100 - I was just wondering if you experienced any particular problems with her over the period of ownership? What tends to bother me more than anything is the thought of my new pride and joy developing rust patches (I intend to ride her all year round). How did you keep your T100 in pristine condition? I would certainly appreciate any advice you could give me....from an experienced owners perspective. Also, if you fitted any upgrades, or after-market parts e.g. better shock absorbers, radiator guard etc.., then I would like to know your recommendations. Many thanks for your time. Take care, Neil.

Who needs a scrambler 1200 when the T120 can go offroad haha! Superb video! I have a massive soft spot for the T120. For me it was the T120 or Speed Twin 1200 and i went for the speed twin because it was that little more sporty. I never thought the T120 could be ridden like that, i thought the long wheel base would make it hard to wheelie but you made it look easy! I didn't see any bike abuse, just being enjoyed! Everyone rides differently and you defo ride very differently! As long as it's cleaned and well maintained ride it how you want! As long as you can afford things like fork seals etc 😉

I give my 1200 Thurxton heaps on dirt. Also have progressive springs. It handles corrugation and never freaks me out. Have a sump guard and cover over the radiator. Mud flying in will squash the bare fins. Best road tyres off road ive had are Michelin Pilots .

I haven’t noticed it. Depends where you are in the world, which season and how you’re riding the bike. Currently I’m riding it in autumn English weather where it isn’t getting hot enough for that. In California summer most bikes fans are on at the lights. Let me know if I can help with anything else!

Sorry, not particularly impressed. Nothing wrong with riding a bike hard on warm, dry summer's day when the tarmac's soft and the tires are nice and sticky, but to ride a machine like that on a cold, wet, filthy winter's day up dirt tracks, thro' muddy puddles and treating it like a speedway bike? Nope! The 'Henge and Cathedral were certainly befitting of the Wiltshire countyside but infinitely better on a warm, dry spring day when the sky is blue. Just sayin'.

OOooo makes me cringe watching this....but its your bike.

You clearly put a lot of effort into making this video but why abuse your motorcycle like that? After the wheelie I just stopped watching, shame.

Thank you for your time and leaving a comment. I appreciate your feedback. I come from a California Desert Racing relationship with Triumphs. Therefore this riding is quite relaxed in comparison to how fellow racers compete in the desert since the 1960s. The Bonneville has been a fantastic, durable and reliable bike over time and although they have a vintage aesthetic. These bikes are built to last. They are wonderful machines and I feel they should show their power from time to time. Hope that helps answer your question. Kindest Regards
@markhenry192Ай бұрын
@MrHenryWest awesome reply. I just find it a little jarring to watch. I love my T100, and as I will not be in a position to replace it, I am more gentle with it than I need to be. Cheers
