And ohhh yeah there was no way I was gonna let the insurance have it. It’s sitting in my back yard as we speak! Hopefully one day I’ll be able to restore her to her original glory! 🤙🏻

Don't remove the front driveshaft!! By removing the front driveshaft the limited slip differential between front and rear is going to be fried. Normally it's not a problem by 4wd because it is designed to be disconnected but by AWD there is a differential between front and back which makes it possible to drive on the road without it taking damage. But because it is a limited slip differential there will still be some slippage which is energy loss, and that energy is going into the clutch in the differential. And that is also why you couldn't make a rolling burnout, think about it, 700 horsepower and an empty bed, that would normally do it with ease.

Limited slip has been a thing for a long time now. You can still break loose all day with it. Might be a lot harder with brand new back brakes.

@@200130769 I'm not talking about the rear diff I'm talking about how the transfer case is limited slip and not locked. Think of it as if you had an axle with a limited slip diff and you took one wheel of, the other wheel would still spin but not get the same energy.
