Simply genius work, vibrant, full of charm, I love this. Here before the KZbin algorithm decides to share this gem in a few years from now and gets a million views from the based algorithm. *See you when I see you, algorithmers~*

Anyone else feel like he's using the tone of his lyrics and the music to create these ominous moments, then resolving them as if they were never there. Almost like musical gaslighting. "Now you ask a lot from me, dead flowers, postcards in rain... game. Chronic pain. You're in chronic pain... And I'm travelling... To where people need me... Young men are safe..." Westerman what's the deal with the chronic pain, I wasn't worried about whether young men were safe until you put them in the song after that bit. I think the song is about laying in bed and being apathetic and just letting one's phone entertain one without thinking. All the while the body is telling one it doesn't like the position it's in, but it's too easy to let the phone gaslight one with entertainment. That's why the tone in the song is so hard to track. It's gaslighting with these good vibes over this ominous undertow. 10/10 would listen to on repeat and do.

There’s something of a contemporary Alan Parsons/Eric Wolfson vocal quality here. Nonetheless, a very chilled out and relaxing vibe. Many thanks.😷🌞🙏😷
