I wish I had known this audiobook wasn't complete or I would have not listened. These type of love stories where the lady plays hard to get is out of style today. It makes him look like a fool and not a man. Love is too dangerous an emotion to trifle with. Otherwise, it kept me listening and at times laughing out loud! Dreamt of writing me own novel.

Listenable reader. Very unusual for Librivox. I can understand that some narrators may be simply mediocre or uninteresting readers. That is not the problem. Librivox seems to deliberately select readers with EXTREMELY unpleasant, harsh, whiny and/or grating voices that inflict genuine psychic distress on my mind, and evoke in me an instinctive fight or flight response identical to that triggered by encountering a threatening lunatic in one's home or place of employment. I am not exaggerating. I have been browsing KZbin for years, and never have I found here a single image, sound, or line of text that is as remotely as repulsive and disturbing to the very fiber of my being and the innermost core of my soul as the voice of a typical Librivox narrator. The sensation is that of being helplessly grabbed up by a giant fist and plunged down into infinite horror, nightmare, apocalypse, the burning, brimstone-reeking depths of the anus of Satan. This person's voice doesn't cause me emotional pain of a searing intensity normally associated with the loss of one's entire family in a horrible mining accident or a wartime atrocity, so I'll give this book a listen.
