You never know how a Max Brand story will end, that is one of the differences between Max Brand and Zane Grey. Like this book The Night Horseman and The Untamed are terrific, I found The Rangeland Avenger as disturbing as the Oxbow Incident by Walter Van Tilburg Clark.

The narrator has a very good voice quality however because of my hearing problems I find it difficult to follow the story so to my sadness I have to choose a different narrator by no fault of his!
