Hi there. I’m planning to drive Ryan’s find road to Jaurdi station and then on to the Helena Aurora ranges in a week or two. I was wondering how the track was overall, how much rain it had had etc. I’ve got an unmodified 4wd Ute and am interested in how hard going it may be. Thanks, any advice would be useful

Hi, we were at Jaurdi Station 2x weeks ago and the roads were ok then for 2wd so you should have no problem unless it rains in the 3 days before you leave. It's a proper road, not a goat track and we have travelled all of it from the Great Eastern Highway to Mt Finnerty, we've been 10kms above Mt Finnerty.

Hey, I wouldn't travel those roads this weekend, it is very wet out there after this week's rain. Gonna take a week or two to dry out again 😎

@@valswesternaustraliaadvent8892 Thanks for that. Heading off next Saturday but I may scrap the Ryan’s find road section and see if the track up from Koolyanobbing is passable.

If only you knew what all that red material is.. where it came from..

All that red material is sand, coloured by iron stone and it used to be part of a hill once upon a time 😎
