People seem to forget that outside the bay area and los angeles California is still very western, and also be careful cuz alot of the "hippies" you can run into in California are really just environmentally conscious Libertarians ( they tend to be a pretty friendly bunch but they are armed so don't underestimate them)

id argue most myths came from the plains or the highplains (midwest) and the south, the imagry is always the southwest but lots of the inaccuracies and myths are from the plains region

Most of us really old guys from the West (I am 85) wear the crease we began with, now called a Cattleman, with the brim narrowing in front from taking it off and putting it on.

I’m wearing my Stetson hat everyday and I like it and I know it’s the same hat that Timothy David Olyphant was wearing on this show Justified and I like wearing and we found it at a shop online at a Spencerwestern store in Florida where I used to live is Florida because my dad was stationed there when he was DEA and I wear the hat even when I’m outside, when I watch TV shows like Justified as well and I love it and it feels really good and I would still wear it when I’m in Law Enforcement as well when I’m in the DEA as well and I would just be like Raylan Givens wearing that Stetson hat that was used on Justified that Timothy David Olyphant was wearing in the show Justified as well and I love wearing it and I’m from Hawaii and I live in Hawaii and I love wearing the Stetson hat as well and I love wearing it and I would wear it everyday and I just love the Stetson hat and I wear it every day when I go out and when I watch my favorite show Justified all the episodes of Justified I wear the Stetson hat and I love the Stetson hat because it’s the same one that Timothy David Olyphant was wearing on Justified so I love wearing that Stetson hat and I would wear the hat every day

She definitely needs some more practice but one thing to remember is never touch another felt hat that is not the same color of the one you previously touched. Reason why is the loose fur will still to your hands and will transfer over to the other hat and good luck getting it off. That’s why when you go get them cleaned or reshaped they use certain brushes or sponges from the same color hats.

Your not supposed to grab your hat from the crown. Real cowboys use the brim to put it on or off.
