I worked for western express twice. The 1st time was to get back into trucking, the second time was a terrible mistake. One thing I learned if you want time of you have to take it when you deliver close to your house before they send you a reload.

You are in the truck right now. You should have made sure you got diesel. In that trunk, drive the truck as far as you can drive the truck until you can't go anymore. Try to set you up a situation where you can get your a ride.Leave the truck where he's at

Happened to me one night in 2020 the cops ask me questions then they made me write down a statement after the Cops cleared me the company tows the truck for insurance purposes then I was picked up then we headed to the terminal then the company do the drug test and alcohol test then they assigned me an Attorney if you were on the phone before the fatality the company request a Phone screening. Didn’t drove for a week the company did offered me a therapist but I declined. Eventually it never went made it to Court. I feel bad for this guy that company is trash they don’t care how situations like this f%cks with you mentally.

Drivers if you need to get home just have a visa or master card debit card and rent a u haul truck no matter how much stuff you have or don’t have. It’s way cheaper than a rental car and no credit card required… Al you need is the smallest truck

If you need to book a one way rental for a car, just book it for round trip, then turn it in at the center near your destination and pay the drop fee

to be fair. u can get a uhaul almost any town or city in america..no credit card needed. many many many times uhaul saved my life. fucc i quit anolace middle of nonwhere oklahoma n only had like 2 bags but inhad to rent a 26 foot box trucc to get home lol...still cheaper than a bus or plane ticcet

It is not just the company's fault. It is his fault as well. You're trying to tell me all of this, and you didn't know that these people wasn't trying to get you home with everything you buy. Once you wear the ice, let all of them back-and-forth, you should have started driving yourself home. I didn't have you okay?

Nah I did that with my first job. They had me sitting for two days on a load and had to get it unloaded at 3am. The main terminal was right around the corner. Washed my clothes, cleaned the truck and bought a plane ticket home for after I drop the load off. By time my DM got to the office I was in the Uber telling him that today will be my last day ✌🏿.

If your truck breaks down at Western Express they pay you $35 each day how can you get by with that and the only thing they care about is you get their load where it need to be they do not care about none of their workers if you become a trainer sometimes they want two trainees in the truck with you
