Thank you for this video. I start my accounting program in August. I am a stay at home mom that also homeschools so I was nervous it may be too much to take on. But I feel more confident now that I can do it :) I have an associates degree but not in business or accounting so I am a little worried about how I will do. Any advice for someone going into accounting without any experience or previous education?

I have 3 classes left on my bachelor and I never took note one once. I used my phone and study while I run around with a toddler with autismif used any pen or paper they would be distroyed

So for the classes for accounting do they just have multiple choice questions for the tests and exams or do they have fill in the blank stuff

Hi thanks for this information. I am a lab technician with an associates degree. I’m thinking of changing careers. I think accounting would be a good fit. Is it hard to get a job with no experience? Once I get the degree? Great job! Tom

Super late reply and you probably found your answer already but it stands for Enrolled Agent. It’s a certification through the IRS which allows you to file taxes on your clients behalf without being a CPA. There are experience requirements and a proctored exam you must pass.

You still have to get to 150 hours. Bachelor's degrees don't get you to that amount of hours.
