Western Maryland 1309: A Maryland Thunder Return (Director's Cut 2022) (4K)

The only directors cut from the 2022 season! Other then a tribute on next time. 1309, well now it's time to put all my favorite clips of the 1309 together, on her trek to Frostburg. With footage from the 2021 North Pole Express trips, from the Welcome Back 1309 Trains Magazine charter, and footage from my fall chase, enjoy two seasons of 1309s trek to Frostburg. Starting from Ridgely, will enjoy the trek into Cumberland before departure. With many classic locations presented in this video from City Junction, The Narrows, Helmstetters Curve, Brush Tunnel, Sunnyside, Woodcock Hollow and more, I hope you enjoy my Directors cut take on the Return of the Beast of the Easts first year of operations on the Western Maryland Scenic!
One more directors cut, another Whistle Complication and somewhere the new 2023 trailer! While I am not fully commiting to anything, I am hoping to stick to seeing 1309, 1225 and 765 this year! Your handling of the tripod and camera are amazing! How do you do that in the hill at helmstetters curve?

Thank you! I’m unsure what hill you are referring to as I shot both. But overlook number 1 is at the cemetery. Just drive into the cemetery, and you’ll see where it is. Number 2, is private property that we had the okay with the photo charter. The family who owned the barn just sold the property. However, I’ve seen people shoot it. So I’d assume If you ask them for permission you’d be able to get there. It is just at the end of the curve off the hiking trail.
