Western relocates Kodak Building 9 - Time-lapse

Western moved a 3,000 tonne four story concrete building 55 m to a temporary location for new deeper foundations to be installed. Western utilized a steel frame below the building supported on 24 rollers (8 hydraulically driven) on three concrete runways. Once the new foundations were partially constructed, the building was moved back then lifted 1.4 meters and temporarily supported on custom steel cribbing.
