With respect to your sister, children do stupid and mean stuff in school. Primary school ok. Secondary school, less so depending upon age. Children can be ignorant and it should be expected that they do foolish and cruel things regardless of religions, to expect them to respect the virtue of the hijab is naïve I feel.
