I put the pendant loop on the bottom, so the chain dangles don't fall over the cabochon. Looks great.

When I was a teen lots of boys wore bolo ties.The one you made is beautiful and I think I could make one. Are the parts very expensive? Where would I find them on fire mountain gems? How long do you make the leather? I love this idea so much! One more question. When you put tape on the ends do you leave it on when you glue it? Sorry I asked you so many questions, but I’m so Excited to make several.

So glad you enjoyed the video! There is a link to the material list in the description of the video. Bolo ties are typically about 36 inches. It really depends on the creator. You could leave the tape or remove it--your choice.

I have a question for you. Originally if I remember correctly. Bolo ties come from men's hat brooch. So how or what back would you use to be able to use as both a brooch and as bolo tie?.
