Yes, You Tube brought me here, but it was circuitous. I was tired of the same old country formulaic music (money making formulas happen to all genres) so I was searching country covers of rap, rockabilly covers of popular songs, bluegrass hip hop, alternative country. Imagine calling the more original kind of country you play "alternative!" The algorithm brought me eventually to Sierra Ferrell Western AF. I got to say, the musicians on Western AF have a lot more grit and authenticity. So, unfortunately, you have a huge uphill battle with the algorithm. @@morganw.2473

I saw these guys live this past Friday. They sounded even better live. Glad to be getting into such a good band as they’re blowing up. Definitely the best show I’ve seen in almost a decade. 10/10 would recommend. From the band to the fans, it was an amazing experience. Thank you Western AF for helping me discover this great group of talented fellas. I can’t wait to pay double the ticket price next time they come through town. Been listening to this band for about five years and saw them three times at small venues. They don’t pigeon hole themselves into any one genre and neither should anyone else . Listen to their whole body of work and you’ll get blues, R and B , gospel, southern rock and country and more. They exploded over the past year opening for Elle King , Dierks Bentley and Eric Chuch. This year they are hanging with Turnpike Troubadour and Whiskey Meyers but they are proving that they can stand on their own and are selling venues everywhere. Today they sold out three nights at The Caverns in TN in less than five minutes. Just enjoy the music and be glad you found them…..
