This life feels like a battle One that I can't win Like I'm swimming against the current Like I'm running against the wind It's like I'm going overboard With an anchor 'round my waist I lie awake at night with tears in my eyes My heart beating out of my chest There's no light at the end of this tunnel I'm in I'm calling for an S.O.S. Somebody help me I'm Drowning I can't tread much longer I'm Fighting To keep my head above water Throw me a line, show me a sign Everything'll be alright 'Cause I feel like I'm Drowning Somebody help me out I try to see the world's true colors But they're all just shades of gray And it's only getting duller Every passing day And the more I fake a smile The more I'm bound to break I've never felt so alone in a crowd full of folks I'm trying just to hide the pain It's just a matter of time till I can't see the light And I hit rock bottom again Somebody help me I'm Drowning I can't tread much longer I'm Fighting To keep my head above water Throw me a line, show me a sign Everything'll be alright 'Cause I feel like I'm Drowning Somebody help me out But it goes to show There ain't always a boat To lend a helping hand But if I can find just one way to stay afloat I'll find my way back to shore again Somebody help me I'm Drowning I can't tread much longer I'm Fighting To keep my head above water Throw me a line, show me a sign Everything'll be alright 'Cause I feel like I'm Drowning Oh, Lord, I'm drowning Lord, I'm drowning Somebody help me out

Been following these young men since I first saw them at the "Basement" in Nashville several years ago. A crowd of about 50 folks crammed in an actual basement of some building off the beaten path in Nashville. Traveled to see them in their hometown in Alabama and the crowds just slowly kept getting larger. Hard working, dedicated to their art and getting the respect & notoriety they deserve. Well done Red Clay Strays....well done.

It's like if Stevie Ray Vaughan and Hank Jr and Clapton and The Black Keys and Johnny Cash and Elvis and Post Malone and Springsteen all got in a time machine together to the future but something went wrong and all their bodies fused into one incestuous festering mass of flesh; so beautifully, painfully, incomparably talented it made God weep so he decided to give them a 2nd chance at life and said they shall be called the Red Clay Strays.
