Personally I feel that the Selbstadler was very worth it. There always seems to be plenty of "assault medic's" in the fray, so I typically hang back about 30 meters behind the main group. The Selbstadlers accuracy allows me to put out solid damage while still providing a fall back point for injured team mates.

Personally I dont feel like any of them are worth it atm. My love for the Martini is virtually non-existant anymore and i've opted for the gewehr m.95 just due to the straight pull on marksman and high rate of fire (you can tell I really dont care for sweetspots anymore either). and as for the hellriegel, literally all of the other smg's are better than it imo. The automatico storm is way too good at close and medium ranges and the mp18 trench is still a damn good alternative if you need a larger mag.

Huot is so underrated. people forget that playing support oftentimes means going prone and that's where the Huot shines. you can easily outsnipe scouts due to how there is virtually no recoil while prone.

The martini WAS worth it before the nerf, and the Hellreigal is. Not so much with the 1906 and Huot. edit: The martini is still worth it, since it is just so damn satisfying to get kills with. Just got rank 10 with scout, (the last class I got to rank 10) and even with the nerfed Martini, it is still my favorite gun in the game.

Huot is worth it from long - medium range. Offcourse you need to deploy the bipod otherwise it has bad recoil

I don’t see it shine when you have the perino, lmg08/18 or the browning. For the base game, kinda. Martini Henry: Quite so. It feels like a real reward and it’s different. It’s worth it. No. 3 Revolver: Yes, totally. A fast reload and high damage output. C93: Yeah, it’s allright overall for me, I like using it even though it doesn’t stick out with anything. Kolibri: I feel it’s like the martini, but overly exaggerated. It’s more like a trophy than a real use gun. Fun to flex with

Certainly the BAR is a powerfull weapon... its my most used weapon aswell. But the BAR suffers from having only 20 rounds, if ur good u can kill 2 or 3 guys with that amount. Some of the medic weapons have 26 rounds so they can kill like 8 guys with one magazine. Also in close range combat they can tap 3 shots out just as fast as the BAR can but do more damage.

You can double shot the martini if you use K bullets, and in some custom matches, when using K bullets it transforms into a lever action ( dunno why, it just does ) Other than that, its fun as to use

aspiring sound engineer here - that mic is overkill for this use. sounds stellar on snare drums, guitars, vocals and so much more. I'm jealous of gamers and live streamers that take their rigs for granted/don't really know what they're doing audio-wise when they tend to buy the nicest things and don't know how they work. Assault 10 gun, YES because there is room to make mistakes, Medic 10 gun, its ok but most medic guns are good, even the one you start with. support 10 gun, no MG 15 and B.A.R. offer more ammo or more damage. Scout 10 gun, Yes because of the sound of the gun and how satisfying it is to get a kill with it.

I'm getting tired of everyone bashing on the 1906. It isn't bad, it just requires a much higher level of skill to use. It is a skill cannon. The longer ranged SLRs (medic weapons) are balanced by TTK and ammo capacity (and a smattering of other characteristics). The Sleb 1916 has the slowest TTK and the largest ammo capacity, the 1906 has the fastest TTK with the lowest ammo count, and the Mondragon is in between. The vast majority of players, including me, will not be able to really make use of the 1906 and the Auto 8 (factory and marksman). They're skill cannons and demand that the player make every bullet count. Stop whining. Git gud.

This is what DICE need to address, otherwise it'll never be used. I like it's variety, but it's lost due to other more spam-able weapons. I just feel it's not worth the grind.

i think the selbstlader 1906 is pretty good. you have to use it a little bit like the martini henry; sit back a bit, pick a target, aim, kill, take cover, reload and so on. after all, sitting back from the support/assault players in your team will allow you to revive them rather than running ahead of them and dying first. whats the point in being a medic otherwise...?

The martini just has a more consistent sweet spot. And I love it. The sniper and assault are the only worth it ones, along with the tank class since it gives you a sawed off shotgun at 10, and also unlocks it for pilot.

I rock the Martini henry. I like being up close and personal as a scout. poppin flares and slinging K Bullets. a martini round followed up with the Mars if needed is a deadly combo!

Anyone who is watching this after the spring patch, the hellriegel now has 60/120 ammo capacity. It's also been buffed so it's just a few bits stronger, also about 5 more hp taken depending on the range. Also, the new Rank II hellriegel now has AA sights. The Selbslader 1906 hasn't changed except adding a new Sniper with new sights, also a possible buff (Don't play medic much) which makes it great. The Huot Automatic now has more capacity and a small buff, it has nearly pinpoint accuracy which is crazy. (Same as hellriegel.) The Martini-Henry Infantry is good compared to the rest of snipers, do the grind for the new Sniper Scope and sniper variant which is an amazing 100 enemy hit from about 1 meter to 75 meters, otherwise it would be 80hp taken to 100 which is great.

the selbstlader 1906 has horrible stats (especially the 5 bullets), but even still i really like to play with it. I can say that i am a pretty good player with an agressive play style. This weapon forces me to play different which is good due to the lack of content in bf1. It is a stupid weapon but i love it 😋

Kim Jong Stunning Horrible stats? Besides having only 5 rounds, it has one of the best stats.... It has a high damage model (on par with Mondragon and Selbstlader 1916), the 2nd highest rate of fire of the medic rifles and the best accuracy/precision of the medic weapons. Stat-wise it has one of the best time to kill, just the low round capacity ruins it for many people.

The helriegel and martini are definitely worth it. The martini henry seems to be the only viable cqc bolt action and i have legitimately held my ground against enemy assault and support classes with the martini which has never happened for the other bolt action rifles i used. The helriegle is still used enmass to this day. If you ever played the objective i’m sure i don’t have to tell you how strong the helriegle is. Seriously i’m pretty sure i’ve died to helriegles more than anything

The Martini is a joke to unskilled players. I have 34 service stars with it and it still get one shots upper chest with 100 damage. If you aren't getting sweet spot kills then you're just inaccurate

The Huot Automatic should be amazing, which is pretty funny. It literally outperformed the Lewis Gun in almost every single way. But the war ended before it could be deployed.
