Thanks for the heads up on the "BREAK-IN" period. From page 21 of the User Manual. BREAK-IN PERIOD For proper break-in, do not exceed 50% of the rated running watts during the first five hours of operation. Use supplied oil until first recommend oil change. Do not use full synthetic oil during break in period. Full synthetic oil may prevent proper breaking and seating of the piston rings. Vary the load occasionally to allow stator windings to heat and cool and help seat the piston rings.

Nice video, the errors are very funny. Thanks for your hard work and taking the time to make the video.

great video. showing your missteps is a pro move. shows you're a regular guy who can be trusted. please don't be offended if i say your videos would be even better if you condensed them down a little, cutting out the seconds where there's no action. but again good job, i'll be watching.

Thanks for the feedback. I'll try to get better at editing that out.

@@DrewDoesStuff-yt please don't I found it more entertaining this way! BTW would you recommend this generator after owning it for some time now?

The oil drains out of mine so slowly, and i have the dipstick out.... The bolt you screwed in on the other side....thats the oil filter on my unit (same model). Am i supposed to take that out before draining oil? Manual says nothung about that...

What did you spray on the oil hose?

I was cleaning up the excess oil with brake cleaner.

Those enclosed generators are sweet but I can't help but to wonder that enclosure has to make the engines run warmer than open framed types.

I would imagine they do, but most of them have larger blowers/fans and are vented to keep them cool. This unit and many other larger inverters have the fan / hot air exhaust out near the engines exhaust. I have a Duromax XP9000iH that works the same with the exhaust heat coming out near the engine's exhaust.
