Saludos, lo recomiendas para correr una nevera regular? Y por cuánto tiempo?
@texabara4 жыл бұрын
Latin.Diabetes.

Inverter is the way to go, if you are running any electronics. Old school generators are good for old school tools and appliances. As soon as the neighbors see lights they may figure out you have a generator. Ice storm 98 up here in Canada there was a few generator thefts, even for generators that were running. Thank you for video.

Good stuff. I have the Cabela's credit card. We use it for our bills and expenses through the month and then pay it off every month earning points. I earned enough to get a free generator at Cabela's. A Champion brand with the Cabela's name and green paint. Its a 3800/4750 watt. I am now working on getting a dual fuel generator little less than 10K watt, depending on if you use gas or propane. It will be used propane only to avoid gas fouling. Cant argue with free stuff.

Non Ethanol gasoline is an ABSOLUTE MUST for any type of small engine which is only occasional used. Ethanol cause water condensation to collect in the fuel and if you don't use your generator, lawnmower, power washer, etc. for a few months or a year, the internals, including the carburetor will corrode. If you use your generator every day, ethanol will be just fine to use. Just make sure to run it out of fuel before storing it.

Tip: Hang onto that empty oil bottle after you've filled the crankcase. Will come in handy for measuring out oil for the next oil change.

That oil bottle has more oil than what's needed. That's why they provide a measuring container. He shows it right after the oil bottle at 3:35 .

Sorry, my mistake. Most of these generators come with a 350ml bottle of 10w-30 oil, which is just enough to fill the crankcase.

RATHER THAN A LOG BOOK for keeping track of run time... A simple to install engine hour meter will let you know, to the tenth of an hour, exactly how long the engine has run and exactly when maintenance is required. Ten bucks on Amazon.

@@arthur4818 That's a damned good price...I guarantee you, that you will love it. It's a sweet little machine. On economy, it will run for 13 hours. I just went through Hurricane Barry, and I kept wanting it to run out of gas , but the damned thing just would not stop. I don't like to store it with gas in it due to the fact that as a generator, it's not in constant use and gas can go bad. I suggest you store it dry until you actually need to use it.

ETHANOL-FREE gas laced with SeaFoam is THE ONLY fuel my Honda generator has ever run on. Here is an article I read that resulted in me switching from Sta-Bil: weingartz.com/expert-advice/2017/01/fuel-stabilizers-sta-bil-or-sea-foam/ Sadly, you make no mention that this generator runs almost 80% longer than comparable generators which to me is THE selling point for this generator.

@mso44336 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately, the vast majority of generators, even the ones with American-sounding names, are made in China. Most of the manufacturers have a phone number you can call, usually in the western U.S. Mine is in Arizona. They can get those parts to you. Maybe someday we will go back to producing things here. Meanwhile, make friends with the Chinese folks. Good luck!

Make sure you're on and off switch has continuity and the coil isn't grounded.
