DIYRAY can you tell me what machine that is comparable that is better? I was looking to get a Westinghouse but your statement that it’s not the best makes me want to ask you what is better out there. Thank you.

Any problems yet? I just used mine once and then stored it and I can’t start it today. 40 rope pulls etc. . Switched gas to new. I’m going to get back to it tomorrow z

why does my Westinghouse WPX3400 gas pressure washer cycle work well for a few minutes and then all of a sudden gives me low pressure and then goes back 10, 15 seconds later to high pressure

Make sure that your fuel is good and check the fuel line and filter.

@@PaulS-z2r possibly related question: do you leave the pressure washer idling for any period of time? Idling for longer than 15 seconds or so builds pressure in the pump AND overheats it from lack of flowing water. Idling is the number one cause of pressure washer pump failure, and I've gotten that from multiple repair centers. Second most common is not draining and winterizing the pump in winter. But if you're having intermittent problems, it's good to ask if you're keeping your equipment happy. Please don't idle it for more than about 10-15 seconds or so. Just a heads up.
