I know it’s a “budget” pressure washer. But this thing is honestly excellent in my opinion. I bought it in 2020 and it has not failed me once. I’ve done many driveways, sidewalks, houses (with x-jet), pavers, patios, cars, etc., and it still works like it did in the beginning. It always starts up almost immediately. First pull a lot of times. If not, no more than 3 pulls. It runs the dewalt 19” surface cleaner flawlessly. Runs turbo nozzles just fine. It’s honestly great. This machine, an X-Jet, and a surface cleaner is honestly the most budget friendly starter pack for anyone that wants to make money with it. And it’s more than enough for any homeowner that just wants to clean some things themselves sometimes. It’s in the back of my pickup truck right now for a hydro jetting job to clear some blocked pipes tomorrow. I forgot to mention it can handle that flawlessly as well. No need for big expensive piper augers. Only downside is that the muffler gets super hot (of course, it’s a muffler) and if you aren’t careful with how you pull your hose, you can melt through it. I semi melted the hose it came with when I first started using it and that hose is still connected to it and hasn’t burst (watch it burst tomorrow for leaving this review 😂😅). Seriously though, for the price, you cannot beat it. Would I buy it again? No. That’s only because I’ve learned about flow over pressure and I would only be buying the next pressure washer to make money, so I’d go with an 8gpm. That’s 5 grand. This pressure washer will hands down make you that and then you can upgrade. If you have 5 grand, go with a 8gpm. If you don’t have 5 grand and want to make 5 grand in a couple of months, buy this. Trust me. It just works.

What do you use for oil/ gas? I couldn't tell what he had

@@shaffey01 It takes standard 87 octane gas. As for oil, standard 10w-30 conventional oil. And yet another year later, still working perfectly. One pull start ups every single time nearly.

I was not familiar with the brand, so I came here to see reviews and how accessible parts are if I should need to fix something. You comment sold me I only want one to do things around the house like driveway, fence, and house (w/ x-jet)

@@mauricelee7299 Haha. They should cut me a little percentage 😅🤣 honestly though, it is a good pressure washer. It finally broke down on me 2 weeks ago. Pulled the cord a trillion times. Wouldn’t start. Slept on it, figured I’d check the spark plug since I haven’t changed anything but gas and oil in the last 4+ years. Went to auto zone, bought a 3 dollar spark plug, took the bowl off of the carburetor to drain all the gas I probably flooded it with pulling the cord a trillion times, and it’s running like brand new again. They still sell this model pretty aggressively so there are plenty of parts available, but if you take care of it, you will go a long time before having to worry about that.

​@@CardinalVibes I didn't get it. I read more comments about people melting the host whenever it touches a part of the pressure washer. Have you experienced that? If so, what did you do to prevent it from happening again.

Hello, I would like to suggest that the next time you are cleaning the outer walls of your house to use around 1% SH so that way you don't damage the house paint. You don't normally want to use pressure on a house

I love the price, I love how it works but have one complaint. It has melted 3 different high pressure hoses to date and I've had it for a month.

I just had the same problem. Took it out of the box, run great for 15 minutes then the hose ruptured. And the engine started smoking. Not sure what happened.

@@PhilD22 I know this may sound patronizing but....did you add oil to it prior to starting the engine?

Since I originally posted I've used it several more times, I think the issue is/was with this particular pressure washer the engine surface is "extremely" hot and the hose accidentally was resting on the engine which melted the hose causing it to rupture. Likely the smoking was caused by the melting rubber. I caution everyone to be carful, it's very easy to accidentally touch the engine and it will melt your skin completely off.

Just assembled the pressure washer, followed all the instructions. It started right up but within a minute it started smoking and was hot as hates.

According to the manual: Running the unit for more than one minute without spraying water causes heat to build up in the pump. In the event that the pump gets too hot, a thermal relief valve will open to release the hot water. Running the unit without spraying water can damage pump components and will void the warranty.

I used 4 cycle TruFuel. It's ethanol free and has stabilizers. TruFuel also has gas/oil blends, but that's not what I used for the pressure washer.

@@Alpha_Omega_1541 I bought one in June. Worked fine, until we tried to use soap, which did not flow to the water pump. We removed the brass connection barb to see if it was clogged and now the water flows backwards out the soap tank. Westinghouse has not responded to calls or emails. Cannot use.

I use it with the 19” dewalt surface cleaner rated for 4000 psi and it does just fine. It might try to lift the 14” sometimes, but it will definitely work.

I use a Hourleey 16" Surface Cleaner with mine and it works great.
