I was waiting on those new Yakima racks for a while. Went ahead and bought the ReelDeal instead of the TopWater because of price. Definitely made a mistake. Since the rods are hanging out in the open, it's a pain to try and get the canoe and rods on top of the car at the same time. Buyers remorse after watching this. Great video by the way.

This is the exact setup I want for my WRX! How is the wind noise with the topwater on there? Its my daily and I wouldn't want to take it off and put it on all the time, but I also don't want crazy wind noise constantly either.

Tough to say since we have one of the louder exhausts on the market. You will definitely hear it flexing more than wind noise has been my experience. If it’s a bumpy road or something you’ll hear it shaking a little since it’s all plastic, but we aren’t taking it off either it stays on the roof and you just forget about it after a while I suppose

Still running strong. The spring which hold it open have had to be bent back since they’re not quite heavy duty enough over time but they may have addressed that. It just came out when they sent it to ya

Perfectly! You set how far apart they are for width so you you can get it setup and cranked down very well
